The property was just as advertised, only downside was parking was very difficult to manuver.

Great stay

Overall fantastic stay. The walking times are inaccurate though, you have to drive to all the major attractions. The area is also not a walkable area. Nonetheless the place was perfect with all the amenities we needed, a grocery store right down the street, and close proximity to the freeway.

A very lovely property! Location was good. It is right off of a busy street but they supply earplugs and white noise machine. The property management company is a stickler about check-in time and will charge for early check-in.

Southend San Antonio Loft was lovely, but needs improvement.

We enjoyed our stay, but the first floor entry-level to the building was overwhelming filled with mold and mildew smell in the air. I assume this is because there is no one maintaining the first floor retail spaces that are empty. The mold and mildew made my allergies to these two Culprits flare up. It was enough to completely stuff up my nose and give me a slight sore throat when I slept in the room. It would dissipate when we were out of the building for awhile. The second level was not quite as bad, but still a slight smell in the unit. This needs to be addressed. The first door code for inside did not work either, so we had to ring customer support for Sonder, a third party that VRBO allows on their site listings. The amenities were great, the loft was spacious, and the room itself very clean and well maintained, although we had to ask for a second roll of toilet paper from the maintenance crew cleaning a room down the hall. The Southtown location is in a lively Music and Art district, and we ate lunch at a wonderful Restaurant next door to where we stayed, called Fruiteria! The Mexican food was the best, very authentic, with a very fresh twist! We would stay here again if the property resolved the mold and mildew problem in the lower level.

Our stay was great! Loft was clean and comfy. Location to our events was not far and very efficient. We loved the decor in the loft and were wanting to move there. 🤣 Overall great visit! Definitely recommend to anyone! Until next time SA❣️
