Bantam's Cabin your home away from home!

Staying at BC you can enjoy a home away from home experience, with a fully functioning kitchen, dish network, patio set, propane grill and so much more. BC is designed for the great outdoorsman but is well suited for weddings, holidays, or family reunions. Drive right up to the back door with plenty of parking for trailer or RV’s.
The space
BC is located on the Republican River 7 miles from the Harlan County Lake and 14 miles from the dam, where you can enjoy public hunting, fishing, boating, bird watching or just enjoy the great outdoors.

The whole house. No access to the basement, it's not a finished basement anyways.

Great stay for a hunting trip.

The house was great. Fit all of us and dogs for a bird hunting trip. Casey is a good guy, and he keeps the place nice and ready for your stay. I'll be back for sure.

A great experience

I loved the simplicity of the cabin and it decor. Cassey was very down to earth and I would definitely stay again. I enjoyed the history of the old town of Oxford that you normally only hear about.

Bantam's cabin

This cabin is excellent and the host was outstanding. The listing is everything is should be. We cooked out and enjoyed a wonderful 4th of July holiday. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone who is thinking about this area. We will stay here again sometime in the future. Thanks to our host and VRBO.

Another visit

We've stayed here a few times when we go fishing at Harlan County Reservoir. Clean, has everything we need, check in/out is super easy and Casey is a good dude. The town of Orleans is a bit depressing, which is unfortunate, but its close to the lake and the town of Alma has things to offer. Thank you Casey!

Why stay in a hotel when you can pick this

This place has it all! It recently was re-sided so don’t let the pictures scare you away from picking this when you are looking for a place when headed to Harlan County! It has a fully stocked kitchen and even a grill! It was a perfect stay for our family and I would definitely stay again!
