The property was beautiful and nicely appointed. It was spacious and very inviting. The view was amazing! We were able to see lots of whale activity from our third floor balcony. Our only complaint was that the website showed free wifi, but we were charged 14.95 a day and it wasn’t reliable.

whale watching best

I like the location. I like the ocean front view. There were bugs in the room that I am not sure what they are. Someone said they look like termites. We noticed them crawling around right when we walked in. I woke up with one on my arm. Another on my paper towels and in the bathroom were several. I have stayed at this location many times and have never had that happen. I have pictures if anyone is interested. I told the hotel and the manager never called me back. I let the front desk know that I was in town and if they could let me know when my room was ready. No one called me. I had to call them at 359pm. The front desk said she had forgotten. Also, I asked 3 times to have the twin beds bridge....they were not. Lamps on night stands are way too large and not much room to put your things. The View is fabulous.

Great building, inaccurate description

The property was beautiful, furniture comfortable, view amazing! The listing listed amenities such as wifi and A/C, however, when we arrived, we found we had to pay $32 for wifi for the duration of our stay and there was no air conditioning. There was a box fan only. Mid day it got up to 76 in the unit even with the fan on and sliding glass door open. When I reached out to the property manager I was told that the listing said Wifi was an amenity, but didn’t state it was free. Every place I’ve ever rented included free wifi and if it didn’t (some hotels), they list the surcharge so that you are aware of it before renting it. When I asked about the A/C I was told “My bad, I assumed the unit had it. I’ve never needed it” Needless to say, the communication was not outstanding. I would rent a unit at Wyndham Depoe Bay again, but not from this property manager
