Nicou's house - CLARA-VILLERACH
Welcome to Clara, a small town in Conflent. The "La Maison de Nicou" gîte is located on the square near the church. Close to nature, you'll enjoy a peaceful and serene stay while enjoying the friendly atmosphere of the village (market and local festivals). Clara is an ideal starting point for exploring the area by mountain bike or on foot. Hiking trails will take you to the Dolmen de la Lloseta and the Gorg de Las Toupines (waterfall), as well as to the Chapelle Saint Etienne de Pomers. Head to Taurinya to discover the Salver mining site and the magnificent Abbey of Saint Michel de Cuxa. Climbing, canyoning, and via ferrata enthusiasts will find what they're looking for in the Gorges du Llech. Conflent is full of cultural and natural treasures: Villefranche-de-Conflent and its Vauban citadel, Eus and its view of Mount Canigou, the Py and Mantet Nature Reserves, and the Yellow Train to discover the villages of the Catalan Pyrenees Regional Natural Park. Every summer, Prades hosts the Pablo Casals Festival and the Ciné-Rencontres. Wellness enthusiasts will enjoy the thermal spas of Molitg-les-Bains and Vernet-les-Bains. You're here between the sea and the mountains! This carefully renovated village cottage is spread over several levels: 1st level: Fully equipped kitchen with dining area, living room with pellet stove 2nd level: Bedroom: 1 double bed (140 x 190 cm) Bathroom with WC 3rd level: Mezzanine: 2 single beds (90 x 200 cm), which can be combined to form 1 single bed (180 x 200 cm) with adjoining reading room External access to a large laundry room on the ground floor: freezer, washing machine, clothes horse, and bicycle rack. This old house has been completely renovated. However, the stairs are secure but may be uncomfortable for people with reduced mobility and/or young children. Non-smoking accommodation. One reserved parking space in front of the cottage. There are communal parking spaces in the village. Charming renovated cottage in Clara, between hikes, thermal baths and listed villages, ideal for an authentic vacation in the Pyrénées-Orientales.
