Adorable Cabin in the Heart of Shaver Lake. Large picture windows and vaulted ceilings bring the outside in. There are lovely front and back decks to relax and enjoy the Mountain atmosphere and forest views, This is your perfect getaway to enjoy skiing, hiking, biking, sledding, swimming, boating. Get together with family and friends and enjoy the best of what the mountains have to offer! Located 1 mile from the main town, 7 min drive from the lake and 30 Minutes from China Peak Ski Resort!

Located about 1 mile from the dining destinations and shopping spots in Shaver Lake, just under 2 miles from the lakefront and 30 minutes from China Peak Ski and Resort, makes our cabin the perfect get away!

Two story cabin, the main floor features living room, kitchen with a 2 full bedrooms, bathroom and laundry (washer and dryer in the cabin are perfect for wet ski clothes) on the first floor. Additional sleeping spaces in second bedroom upstairs as well as full bathroom and an additional murphy bed. (3rd bedroom located is a Garage conversion fully insulated with Heating)

Enjoy a movie night next to the fireplace and/or get some fresh air and hang out on the deck with table and chairs in the summertime.

We DO provide clean linens
We DO provide clean bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths.
We DO provide shampoo, conditioner, and soap for each bathroom.

We have trash service, no need to take home your trash.

Quiet hours are from 10pm until 7am.

BBQ/Fire-pit on deck available for guests to use.
If gas tank is empty you are responsible to refill it if you want to use it.
Guest is responsible for cleaning grill after use.

No smoking.

We are private owners and not a management company, please be mindful and respectful of our place so we can continue to share it with others. No parties, No Events Allowed.

This property does not have boat or trailer parking. You can call a third party service to reserve a boat slip and overnight parking should you like to bring your boat.

There is no parking on the road during snowfall - please park in the driveway. The snow plows will not clear the road if cars are parked on it. The driveway can only accommodate 2-4 cars depending on how you park it. There is no room to park in the Garage.

The fireplace did not work, and despite reaching out through the messaging platform, we received no response. The bedrooms had extremely poor ventilation and became unbearably hot, forcing us to leave doors open, resulting in little sleep and no privacy.One bedroom turned out to be in the garage, which was not clearly disclosed. That room also had spiders, making it unusable. The kitchen stove did not function properly—one burner barely worked while another overheated—so we were forced to eat out for every meal.We were also charged 35 for just one hour of early check-in, which felt inflexible compared to most rentals. Basic supplies were lacking, and the property felt cheaply set up.After long days of skiing, this was not a comfortable place to return to. We were very disappointed and feel the property was not worth the price.

Great, cozy cabin!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin and will definitely inquire to stay there again. One suggestion would be to have just a few more “cooking staples” in the cabinets like olive oil, cooking spray and seasonings. Overall, however, our stay was great!

This place was , the location was perfect. My family and I definitely enjoyed the rental. Just a couple of minor things. Fire pit outside didnt have any propane. We left it half full for the next to enjoy. Also no bbq grill , so bring your own. Also the front and back doors either have to be lifted when opening or it sticks Other than that it was great... thanks again to the host for the hospitality..

The location of the property is fantastic. I think they should tell you the one bedroom is in the garage. the kitchen is a little under stocked and there is definitely delayed maintenance the decks and siding Also the remote in the master bedroom has no volume and the garage door opener doesn’t work.

4th of July weekend

This house has a great location, but this house needs a ton of TLC! Doors don’t open close very good, front porch and back deck are rotted out, back rail on patio is 1 screw from falling over, not many pots/pans. Cabinets are empty, the front door lock is junk had to go through a window to get it! This is like a section 8 rental in shaver.. would not book again.

Amenity condition

The coat rack by the entry door was screwed into drywall and immediately fell when hanging a jacket. I noticed someone else had the same problem and relocated it without success. The out door fire pit was a complete mess and would not light. The burner was filled with wet ash from a prior guest burning wood on top of it. I spent about an hour cleaning it out and was able to get it to work but very little flame would show above the rocks. It needs servicing. The front door is hard to lock when leaving. It needs servicing also. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed your cabin!

Hello Mike, The coat rack by the entrance has been removed since guests keep hanging way too much stuff on it and it ends up falling. As far as the outdoor firepit, this is news to me and I will have it serviced. Thank you for pointing it out. I’m sorry you had Trouble w the front door. I was there this weekend and it worked perfect every time. Maybe you just didn’t know how to operate the smart lock properly. I wish you would have contacted me and I would have walked you through it. You are welcome back anytime and thank you for staying w us.

The location is ideal about 7min from the lake. However, this property is not being kept up. Below are the issues we had: - no A/C despite listing (owner told us that would be removed from listing immediately) - ceiling fan in main room doesn’t turn on - all of window shades broken - either won’t stay up or won’t come down - front door scrapes across floor and doesn’t open beyond half way without significant pushing (fire hazard) - garage door doesn’t open using button (we never found remote); - laundry closet is hanging off hinge and fell on us when opening door - grill is unusable because it is so dirty - fire pit doesn’t work (despite having propane) - shower door in upstairs bathroom broken - no remote for tv in main bedroom so can’t watch tv - almost all towels provided have stains - no ceiling fan and window doesn’t close in upstairs bedroom (heat made it unbearable to sleep there) We reached out to owner and after our messages on the first few problems were not resolved, we didn’t bother reporting the rest as it was unlikely to be addressed.

Great place, close to town and easy access to China Peak.

We really loved the stay. The location is a quick drive to town and right off the main road. There's a nice little hike down a fire road just a little ways down. And it was really easy to get to China Peak. The property was clean, there were plenty of beds that were comfortable and the back deck was a nice place to hang out.

Overall great location & beautiful cabin. Only thing wrong was the fridge was not working. I notified Hal the first night but nothing was done due to timing. Most of my food went bad which was a bummer since we had to eat out & spend more money than anticipated. A little trash under couches and master pillow had a bad smell. Other than that I highly recommend this beautiful cabin. My kids loved it.

This has always been a dream to own a cabin in Shaver as I love the outdoors.
I named the cabin after my Daughter Halona which makes the place special forever!

I love everything about this place from its location to the way it's set up. The tall entry and the dual decks were major selling points when I first looked at it. I Hope you enjoy it and come back again!
