❄️ A/C Notes

AC- We do have AC and ask that you be conscientious about conservation both when you are at the cabin and gone for the day. Please make sure all windows are closed if you are using the AC and turn it off when you leave the cabin to explore. It cools down very quickly, so no need to keep it running all day while you are at the lake. We really appreciate it!

🐻 Bear Safety & Trash Info

***Important - please do not leave any ice chests, food or trash on the deck. The bears will come around looking for it.🐻 In our best effort to "Keep The Bears Wild" and prevent them from eating garbage and spreading it throughout the forest, we have our maintenance person take trash after each stay. Please make sure your trash is bagged before putting it in the outside cans as it makes it much easier for our maintenance person to grab and transport. We would also appreciate it if you break down any card board boxes. We really appreciate your support in our efforts to protect both the bears and the forest.

🐜 A Note About Nature

We want to let you know that while we take great care to clean and maintain the cabins, staying in the mountains means being close to nature. It’s not uncommon to encounter a few critters or bugs, even with regular cleaning. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of the mountains.

Why they chose this property

I think you will love this cabin because of the location! It is the best in the area. Walking distance to the lake and town.

The cabin is for families and friend getaways only, no parties. We are owners, not a rental agency. We have neighbors who live next to our cabin year-round and we want to respect that. No pets.
