About this property

Fantastic to wake up in the morning and look out over the Atlantic. Reverse floor plans home with 2 br, both with private baths, on lower lever. Master br has a private porch with a swing to enjoy a lazy afternoon. Second br has bunk beds plus a queen bed too accommodate up to 4 guests. Upper level with kitchen, dining area and living room. Enjoy the great ocean views. Easy walking distance to the ocean. I have memberships in both the Shoals and BHI clubs so a temporary membership is available for either. There are 2 four seat golf carts for your use. Not a better place to relax on the island

Great view, nice sunsets, windy but enjoyable, getting around on golf carts was a blast (no cars), enjoyed conservancy park(s), admired natural island preservation, house was clean, bedding comfortable, kitchen had good utensils, fun.

Perfect Thanksgiving Getaway for Families!

Our Thanksgiving stay at your Bald Head Island house was absolutely wonderful! The kids especially adored the bunk bed room, which became their own little haven. The ocean view from the house was simply breathtaking, providing a constant source of entertainment and relaxation. The house itself was spotless and perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay. All the amenities were in excellent condition and met all our needs. The only minor suggestion I would offer is that upgrading the cookware would be a great improvement. Overall, we had a truly magical Thanksgiving experience at your home. The kids had so much fun exploring the island, and we all enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the setting. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! Highlights: Perfect for families with kids (especially the bunk bed room!) Spectacular ocean view Clean and well-maintained house Excellent amenities Suggestions: Consider upgrading the cookware We would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a perfect family vacation on Bald Head Island. Perfect size, great location

A lot of the places on or near south beach are just too much house for a small family of three or four, but the Sail4Fun is the perfect size (could easily accommodate two adults and 3 children) and is in a fantastic location. The ocean views from both levels are great and the beach access is literally a few steps across the wynd. We had a great stay. The “older” golf cart with the higher tires has some good pep, too, which is a nice bonus.

Fantastic home in a beautiful location

We have been coming to the island for 20 years now, and this is one of the few houses we’ve stayed at that we would have no hesitations about returning to. The house was clean, outfitted well, and the layout was perfect for a small family. The furniture and decor were proportioned well and took advantage of the space. This never happens, but somehow, the view was actually better and more beautiful than the photos suggest. The owner was extremely communicative and responded immediately. Thanks for everything!

I’m a dentist in Raleigh, N.C. , just retired, and am lucky enough to of just acquired this lovely home. I enjoy traveling as much as possible and sailing. Have owned properties on the island for over 30 years and Bald Head is my favorite place. My languages are English, French, Italian and very very bad Spanish if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Why they chose this property

From the moment you hop on the ferry in Southport the stress just seems to drop. One of my favorite things about coming to the island is just riding the ferry up top with the breeze and sun. You can paddle board, canoe, charter a sail trip at the harbor, bike ride or just hang out at the beach. The house has an upper deck with great views of the ocean which is perfect with a glass of wine. I have memberships in both the Shoals and Bald Head clubs if you wish to make use of them. I’m sure you’ll have a fabulous time
