This house was great and exactly what we needed. Our house was being renovated and we had to move out completely for 5 days. We packed up what we can to include our 2 dogs, 1 Rottweiler and 1 Frenchie. Even though the backyard was a little small for the dogs to move around the park was a 1 min walk away. Everything was so close and convenient. The house was clean and everything was in great working condition. The owner answered any questions we had and was easy to communicate with. Thanks for everything!

Yes, the property was welcome to pets. There were some issues with cleanliness in terms of the stove having grease splatter on it and utensils being dirty (and needing a wash). There were also lights that didn't work. But, these are all fixable problems and nothing serious. Overall, it's a good place to rent. It's in a good location, the neighborhood is safe and quiet, and there are nice walking trails nearby.

Great place to stay

Property was very clean, warm and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen well stocked. Property manager was great at checking in, and readily available. The location can't be beat, with so many attractions and wonderful restaurants within 5 miles.

Pros: Good Location, safe neighborhood, spacious for our family, easy check in, bathrooms seem to be newly remodeled.Cons: House was NOT clean. Floors were dirty, we swept upon arrival. Kitchen cabinets and drawers are dirty with crumbs, silverware was not clean, and pans were badly stained. The non-leather couch was also dirty and worn. We changed all bedding-sheets/pillow cases, they did not seem to be clean. They had stains and pet hair. My husband went to the store to buy Lysol spray. There is a large splatter on the wall of one of the bedrooms- not sure what it was. There were NO bath towels. The only towels were 2 towels in each restroom which were the ones hanging to dry hands after washing. We stayed 2 nights, we're a family of five who shared 4 towels to bathe and dry hands. Host said the previous guests destroyed the towels and they would be replaced for the next guests. We would not recommend this place- mainly due to uncleanliness. The house does not seem like it is cleaned professionally. I shared some pictures- I mainly took video upon arrival, therefore some pics aren't as clear.

Outstanding stay- great location + great home!

This was the perfect 4 night stay while we were in town for a swim meet. Location was perfect— centrally located in lovely neighborhood w parks & trails. House was spotless and well stocked. Donovan was an outstanding host— very responsive if we had questions. Would definitely stay here again!

The owner/manager was great to communicate with; the location was great and the beds were nice. Products inside the give for soap abs washing dishes were poor quality- seemed watered down. We had to re-wash cleaned dishes before using them. The living room space was nice and nice to eat outside on the patio!

The property location was very convenient; the capitol building and several shopping locations were less than 15 minutes away. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, and seemed very safe. The property itself was nice, clean, and spacious; the living room and kitchen are on the first floor, while the bedrooms are on the second. Overall, the stay was very enjoyable and pleasing. Make sure to contact the owner for the door code before you arrive.

Property was well maintained. Host was amazing. I needed early check-in and he was able to accommodate us. He responded to my questions within the hour (if not sooner). There were 3 couples, all driving. Parking was a little less than desirable. Only one car in driveway. Overall, experience was excellent. I would rent this property again.

This place was absolutely disgustingly dirty, it was so bad we had to leave, hair and stains in the bed, food crumbs everywhere, everything was sticky and dirty. Now the owner won’t refund the money we spent. Stay away from this place!!

Cheap group travel- you get what you pay for

We needed a place for 5 of us to crash for 8 hours before we flew out of the Sac airport. The house was conveniently located. The bedding and towels didn’t smell clean, and the house was not cleaned very well, and the beds were very uncomfortable. Communication with the host was very quick and helpful- but was only needed because the door code wasn’t in the informational email where it should have been. It got the job done, but wasn’t an enjoyable stay.

Lots of Golf

Place worked very well and located centrally and could get to courses we played in less than 45 minutes. Good TV with sports which was a must. Grill worked and made cooking easier for those that do want put major effort into it (which we did not). One bed not comfortable but couch worked in its replacement. No mixing bowls or cooking sheets. These would have been welcome but not a show stopper. Overall good hit but wish I would have played golf a LITTLE bit better!!

Location was perfect! 1) Primary bed sags like a cereal bowl, needs replacing. 2) None of the table or floor lamps worked. 3) No box tissue anywhere 4) No hand towels, only bath towels 5) A bathroom drain missing drain cap 6) No working front porch light 7) no type written instructions for TV 8) floors dirty 9) Owner is very responsive, but when I asked about the lack of dishtowels, he asked if I'd spend time to go buy them for the unit, and he'd "reimburse me up to $20" 10) No type written or other instructions provided for check out. The value of the unit is incredibly in line with other VRBO's in the area, however the unit needs additional attention to details, for a comfortable stay.

So many scam artists out there. My home was in perfect working condition when the person checked in. Unfortunately, there is a lot of people trying to take advantage of the system.

Easy location. All the basics provided.

Good location with easy access from the freeway. Has all the basics and host responds quickly. House could use some updates and a little deep cleaning. We only stayed one night on two occasions going to and from a longer road trip. For our needs it was fine. For longer stays a few considerations. Keep in mind these are minor and overall the place was just fine. First, the AC is off when you first come. In the middle of summer that is a problem. Especially if you are getting in late like we did. House did not cool until after midnight which made getting sleep after an 11 hour car ride difficult. there are dead plants and just general maintenance that could be done. Example are the AC vents which looked like they have not been cleaned in a long time. We brought our own sponge for kitchen cleaning and it was still there two weeks later when we returned and it doesn't look like the cleaning crews clean under the beds.
