We had a lovely time! Everything was as advertised and there was even a second bath/shower we didn't know about. Loved the quietness of the area, the clear mornings with coffee on the deck. Very clean, pet friendly and family friendly. Would definitely return for another stay!
We are so happy we stayed here for the month! It was super comfortable and clean, and within easy reach (30 min - 1.5 hrs) of nature, restaurants, history and more! Eleanor was great to communicate and work with, and even available to do a Facetime tutorial with us so we could run the woodstove and keep warm! We felt so accomplished after learning the NM ropes. :) Dixon is amazing, too! This little town has done so much as a community, creating a co-op market, library, wineries, a thrift store... and everyone is friendly, too. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it 100%!

Pretty place but no coffee or host response
The location was lovely and stunning, the nearby town quaint and the interior lovely with so many beautiful, artistic touches.
We were dismayed to see there was no coffee and we arrived late at night looking forward to a morning with coffee on the porch. We had to drive a ways for coffee. As people who stay at airbnbs and Vrbos often this is a staple I would recommend for any Airbnb. The hostess was also unresponsive to our messages.
Otherwise, the stay was lovely and the location and views majestic. We also loved listening to the records on the record player.
The house was extremely dirty and dusty. There were cobwebs with dead spiders in them everywhere, and stains on all the curtains. I couldn’t place the smell when I was there but after returning home I’ve had to wash EVERYTHING including my bag because it all smelled like cigarette smoke. Very odd that there was no TV (although not a deal breaker). We really only used the house to sleep in as we traveled to Santa Fe and Taos during the days. It definitely needs some TLC and renovations but it was pleasant otherwise.
It was so out of the way and beautiful down here, super cute area but definitely out of service and kind of far from things but I personally enjoyed that aspect! They have an awesome record player to enjoy some old tunes, tons of books for a wake up, drink coffee and read type of vibe! The host was kind and helpful, the beds were super comfy, the showers are so nice and everything is so colorful and cute! Just loved it here!
Enjoyed 4 night stay while in town to attend a family wedding. Kitchen was great for high volume cooking. Large fridge/freezer and 5 burner stove very helpful. Great collection of books and games, comfortable beds, ample hot water, quiet location. Nice furnishings in spacious living room. Even played some vinyl on retro suitcase turntable. Loved that there was no tv. Thought it was closer to Embudo; instead there is a channel through lot that likely flows just durng high water and rain noff periods. House nondescript from outside and the floors creak, but interior exceeded my expectations. Would stay here again.
This property was perfect for our family ski trip to Sipapu. A secluded location but we enjoyed the local shops and the house had everything we needed.
Nicely stocked house, easy to find. Stayed about 5 days with my partner. Spacious, well stocked kitchen, fast internet.
It had snowed before we arrived - we were fine getting up the driveway hill with an all wheel drive vehicle.
we kept warm in the house with the baseboard heat and wood stove
Everything was exactly as described, we found the home stocked with everything we needed! We felt at home immediately and loved the proximity to so many things. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked with everything we needed to cook. Rainfall shower head was nice after a day exploring on the trails. Would absolutely stay here again.
This casa was the ideal for my visit to NM. The wonderful community of Dixon is just down the road - Santa Fe & Taos are close by too. It was so peaceful, I spent one entire day enjoying the deck and view. The place is beautifully appointed & comfortable, I felt immediately at home. This will be my go to accommodations whenever I’m in Dixon. BONUS for me - turns out the host’s hometown is my adopted home of 40 years, we discovered we had MANY friends & acquaintances in common. This is an awesome Vbro!
The house is absolutely adorable 🥰 the area was so peaceful I loved everything about my trip 🙏 I definitely will recommend this property to all my family and friends ♥️
I enjoyed my stay during the month of April and found the location quite perfect for exploring northern New Mexico and southern Colorado as well. The house is nicely layout and has an easy flow to it. Dixon is a quiet, quaint town with a nicely stocked food coop, extensive library and the wonderful Metier Studio Gallery. There are endless adventures to be had in the area of New Mexico!
This home was the perfect spot for our trip to sipapu. Its central to everything we needed but far enough out to enjoy a quiet time away. Eleanor was great to communicate with and quickly responded to any questions we had. Everything was clean and tidy. We loved having the record player to listen to while unwinding from a day on the mountain.
The house was in great condition - renovated, clean, and fully functional. Plenty of space in the house, good proximity between Taos and Santa Fe. Perfect for a quiet getaway in a quaint small town - absolutely loved my time in Dixon, hoping to be back one day!
We used this property as our base to explore Santa Fe, Taos, Bandelier National Monument and for rest and relaxation in between our adventures. One of the nicest (if not *the* nicest) vacation rentals I’ve stayed in! Comfortable beds, wonderful showers, very nicely decorated. Everything was great. The host was incredibly responsive and informative. Will definitely book again in the future.
Peaceful getaway that was the perfect distance for everything we wanted to do. Loved that there is no TV, and listened to records most nights while eating and chatting. Had everything we needed, and was a good base camp for all the adventures we packed in.
Upscale decor, very clean, very nice. Amazing king size tempurpedic mattress in bedroom (not queen!) slept wonderfully. The owner is super helpful and friendly. Office is the size of second bedroom. Can put blow up mattress in there. And we had one teenager sleep in leather sofa in living room also. (None of the couches fold out)
Neighborhood is not one to take a walk or hike around or anything. Steep driveway (consider vehicle if it’s snowing). But was great location to ski the slopes at sipapu. Then Come back, build a fire and have dinner. It took us 30 minutes from cabin to sipapu.
Will definitely be staying here again.
