About this property

The Vineyard House - A Serene Cottage in the Mountains with Magical Views

Our stylish home is tucked into an apple orchard, overlooks the vineyard, and is surrounded by mountain views. This spacious one bedroom is perfect for a writers retreat, a romantic staycation, or a base to explore the 3 nearby ski areas. Put your feet up and relax on the patio while you sip a glass of excellent Vivac Winery wine or enjoy the fall foliage out the French doors to our back patio which has a charming bistro table with umbrella. In winter you'll stay cozy inside while gazing out the large picture windows at the beautiful scenery. A fully appointed kitchen is a chef's dream, including amenities like a restaurant stove, cuisinart and kitchenaid mixer. The town of Dixon offers a fully stocked co-op market and deli, a post office, a fantastic restaurant (Zuly's Cafe), and 4 wineries in close proximity. Taos is a short 30 min drive north or you can head to Santa Fe only 1 hr away. White water rafting, hot springs, museums, shopping and more are available, but we warn you, it will be hard to leave this charming little oasis.
