About this property

The Bunkie— Bunkhouse Slps 6-7; hot springs, river & ski

The Bunkie is a fantastic Adirondack bunk house that sleeps 6-7, and has a separate deluxe restroom and shower facility. One Hickory queen bed and four twins bunked in real Old Hickory bunkbeds. A rollaway cot with ljnens also included. Wonderful bed and bath linens provided, air conditioning/heat, and a small refrigerator with bottled water are in The Bunkie. The Bunkie is as walk away from the deluxe Loo-uvre Restroom and Shower House. Better to choose one of our log cabins if you need a restroom en suite.

Perfect as an overflow facility for larger groups staying in our deluxe Lodge just next door. A little outdoor seating area is next to the building.

Our year-round Inn is in the Idaho countryside, with alpine and XC skiing and year-round hot springs just up the road in the canyon. The Snake River corridor is across the road, while Bear World and the Labelle Ice Castle are 13 miles to the northwest. We are centrally located between the South Gate into Grand Teton National Park 90 minutes to the east, and the west gate into Yellowstone National Park 90 minutes to the north.
Our Outdoor Kitchen, shaded Lodge Back Yard, and Supply Room simplify your events. The complementary Supply Room has a host of items to make a large group gathering or event a cinch— toaster ovens, crockpots, drink decanters, galvanized tubs, large coffee and hot chocolate makers, and much more. A wedding arbor and outdoor open-air Pavilion and Patio are also available.
Our famous little Borrow Barn includes a load of all-complementary activities on site including pedal boats, a fleet of cruiser bicycles, volleyball, badminton, croquet, tetherball, horseshoes, a disc golf course with maps/score cards/discs, and Little Free Library #69967. We like to say, “Stories worth sharing rarely begin with, ‘So we decided to stay in’ .”
New in March 2022, The Bunkie provides a slightly campy feel that families will love. If you’re planning a larger group gathering, our four Moonlight Cottages, four log cabins, the deluxe Lodge with gourmet kitchen, glamping tents, two camper trailers, plus RV and deluxe tent sites can easily accommodate large groups, and we specialize in tailoring rooms to your group’s needs.
We strongly encourage early booking for any of our rooms, as we have limited availability, especially in summers. We take bookings as much as three years in advance. .

Did not stay at the property
I have tried to get in touch with the property manager. No luck. Arrived without any access instructions. The bathrooms were communal and not connected to the house. The showers also were not connected. I have requested a dull refund and have not heard back. Terrible experience. How can I get a refund?

About the host

Hosted by Sharon Parry

Host profile image
Steve and Sharon are very happy to have found the Inn property in 2015. They have three grown children who are all married, and they have 8 grandchildren. When not at his law practice in Idaho Falls, Steve enjoys being in rafts on rivers, helping feed Sharon's addiction to whitewater rivers across the country.

Why they chose this property

Steve and Sharon bought the Inn in 2015, and after extensive remodels and a host of newly built rooms, we are happy to host groups large and small.

What makes this property unique

The Aspen Grove Inn at Heise Bridge offers a wide range of free amenities-- our Borrow Barn full of activities indoors and outdoors, the Bike Corral with our cruiser bicycles and some kid bicycles, and our pedal boats on The Pond. Please only adults in the Borrow Barn and the Bike Corral (same adult putting the items away in the same place items were found please. Namaste). We LOVE seeing guests having fun.
