This house was SO cute and comfy, the host left us a welcome note and some snacks which we thought was a really nice touch. If I find myself back in Rigby, I will book this house again.
House was in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to surrounding areas (Heise Hot Springs, Idaho Falls, and Labelle for the ice castle that we were unfortunately not able to go to).
The house was clean and charming. The hostess was amazingly helpful and accommodating. A goid place to stay if you want to take in the sights of the surrounding area.
Definitely recommend!
This time of year outdoor recreation is chilly. It’s great to come home to a nice cozy place with all the necessities. We love this home and will continue to stay here when in the area.
A very quaint & charming house. We absolutely loved it!
It is such a quiet neighborhood. The house was very very clean & the hardwood floors reminded my wife of the house she grew up in. We had to be careful & watch the grey kitty as it wanted to come in every time we got back. Lol
While we didn't do much other than sleeping at the property, we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. It's like going to your grandparent's house. Rustic decor throughout. Has all the amenities you need for a peaceful getaway. Even though the back patio was cluttered, it was still nice to grill dinner one night and hang out. The shower was temperamental but once we figured it out, it wasn't that bad. Lift up the handle to turn on, and then move the handle side to side for cold/hot. Do not turn the handle. There is an air conditioner in each bedroom. If you turn both on and put the fan in the hallway, it will cool the house fairly well, except the kitchen. If driving here, bring your own pillows. We flew in so that wasn't an option. Didn't take away from the experience though. Fridge/freezer works great. Dishwasher was okay. We lightly hand washed the dishes before running them through the dishwasher after the first use. Coffee pot, microwave, stove, and toaster work fine. Drinkware, cookware, dishes, and utensils all present. We would certainly rent the house again if we get back to this area. Two hours to the Tetons, and two hours (or less) to West Yellowstone. Just outside of Ririe is a rest area on US 26 heading east towards Swan Valley with spectacular views of the Snake River. Broulims is a great local grocery store for all your needs. Recommend checking out the Rustic Root and Pandora's Chocolate in town and Yellowstone Bear World near Rexburg if you have kids. Enjoy your stay.

Reminded me of grandma's house. It was cosy, comfortable, and in a nice neighborhood.
The rental is clean, can't adjust the cold water on the shower so it was very hot water. The water wouldn't completely turn off. Other then that it was nice, convenient to see family and Property Manager responded quickly when needed

Not as expected
Cold shower (no hot water). Fireplace didn’t work. 1950’s decor. Didn’t use dishwasher, stove or oven so can’t say anything about them. Plenty of bath towels. Beds were comfortable. Heater was good. Front door and lock are tempermental. VRBO did not send us the lock code. Nor were they helpful. Finally called Carol directly and she helped us get in the front door with a code lock. It was cold and stressful.
The house was cute and very clean. I love older homes and the character of them.
The bathroom needs some work, I was looking forward to a hot shower. But the water pressure was terrible. Hardly any water was coming out of the shower head.
Also I had trouble with the check in, it was at 4 and had to call the owner to get the code because I never received an email with it.
We had a great time in the area of Rigby enjoying all that the great outdoors has to offer. The Snake River is so full of wildlife and we had a lot of encounters.
Thanks for offering us a great place to stay.
My sisters and I took our niece on a birthday trip to do some antiquing. This house was just perfect for our trip! We slept comfortably and had a great time at night playing games at the table.
House is old so don't expect modern amenities. It has things like window AC units but we never felt hot or uncomfortable. Worked just fine for the 2 nights we were there
I give credit that the house was cozy and clean. Complimentary coffee and water was provided.
There was only one window air conditioning unit which was in one of the 2 bedrooms. While there was a fan in the living room and second bedroom, the house felt very hot.
I had to reach out to the owner of the house to ask for the WiFi password. She did respond right away.
The owner and I had a disagreement regarding the lack of air conditioning throughout the house. I felt that it should have honestly been listed prior to us making the reservation. I felt a half refund for our stay would have been reasonable. Owner claimed that she makes very little from the reservation and offered me a $5 refund. I decided to let her keep the funds, though she never responded or thanked me. While the home-owner was polite and not rude, I felt better customer service could have been provided in regards to how hot it was in the cottage. Our family would have loved to have been a returning customer in the future and I had initially planned to leave a higher review, but based on our different views regarding the situation, we will look elsewhere in the future.
P.S. The home owner's son showed up a half hour early (than check out time) while we were packing up to leave, so that he could clean and prepare the cottage for their next guests. We left exactly on time for listed check out. Homeowner claimed that we left a half hour late which was inaccurate.
The house is very easy to find, in a nice neighborhood that is quiet and close to stores and restaurants. It's perfect for two to three people. I know the owners are going for the vintage look in keeping with the style of the home and that is great, but the bath could use a couple of updates. Overall we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay in this Cute Little House.
Definitely vintage. Clean and quiet.
Didn't spend much time there - just the bed and shower.
Shower could be improved.

Very disorganized
There was no check-in or check out instructions given with my booking. I had to contact the property host several times before she got back to me. She was very nice about it, but it was not organized and I want a stress free experience for a vacation. The place had way way old furniture, it was way hot and literally everything was pretty outdated.
