Comfortable stay. Felt like we were staying at our great aunt's house. We were thrilled it had a washer and dryer. It was perfectly located in between our daughter in Rexburg and our niece in Idaho Falls. Host was kind and quick to answer any questions.

Very good except a firm sitting couch and lounge chair to repair the existing ones. A bed that does not squeck would also add to desirablity. Also probably better sheets. We just slept on the master bed.
This property was a great fit for our needs. It was clean and quiet and gave us space to hang out with our son and grandson who live in the area. The available washer and dryer were especially appreciated! We loved the vintage feel but know that not everyone will enjoy it. A property!
Nice, quiet little home. Great for our stay in the Idaho Falls area. The home was a bit too warm during our stay. The window air conditioner struggled with the hot temps. Overall, would probably stay there again.
A clean and comfortable place, a bit on the warm side with only a small window air conditioner in one of the bedrooms. You’ll definitely want to run the ceiling fan in the other bedroom at night after a hot summer day.
This house was great for 4 people. Communication with the host was easy & she was sweet. I'd def stay again!

This house was SO cute and comfy, the host left us a welcome note and some snacks which we thought was a really nice touch. If I find myself back in Rigby, I will book this house again.

Reminded me of grandma's house. It was cosy, comfortable, and in a nice neighborhood.
This time of year outdoor recreation is chilly. It’s great to come home to a nice cozy place with all the necessities. We love this home and will continue to stay here when in the area.
House was in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to surrounding areas (Heise Hot Springs, Idaho Falls, and Labelle for the ice castle that we were unfortunately not able to go to).
The house was clean and charming. The hostess was amazingly helpful and accommodating. A goid place to stay if you want to take in the sights of the surrounding area.
Definitely recommend!
A very quaint & charming house. We absolutely loved it!
It is such a quiet neighborhood. The house was very very clean & the hardwood floors reminded my wife of the house she grew up in. We had to be careful & watch the grey kitty as it wanted to come in every time we got back. Lol
The rental is clean, can't adjust the cold water on the shower so it was very hot water. The water wouldn't completely turn off. Other then that it was nice, convenient to see family and Property Manager responded quickly when needed

The shower knob works. I guess it may be unfamiliar so you have to fiddle with it to figure it out. Sorry about that.
The location was great, quiet and safe neighborhood. We felt safe in the home with the outer door locks. It was cold outside all weekend in Oct. and the house was cozy and warm enough, with fans in the bedrooms for great sleeping temps. One of the beds was very squeaky, if you moved even a tiny bit it made lots of noise. Otherwise I thought both beds were comfortable, but husband disagreed. And the pillows weren't great but we brought our own. Everything in the kitchen worked and we had everything we needed. Very clean home apart from some dust on the side table in living room and stains/spots on outer bed covers (but with sleeping under the sheets that wasn't a big deal). Extra blankets are provided. We saw no instructions or controls for the fireplace so we assumed it didn't work, which was fine because there was no safety covering for children and we have a toddler. It was otherwise a pretty safe home for kids, cleaners stored up high etc., but there are breakable trinkets in the curio cabinet and open access to the washing machine, so those might be a concern if you're traveling with young kids but wasn't a problem for us. We didn't get to appreciate the big yard and patio thanks to weather but looked nice. The TV and WiFi worked fine. Host was nice. Check in and out was easy. Overall a good stay, especially for the price!

Very disorganized
There was no check-in or check out instructions given with my booking. I had to contact the property host several times before she got back to me. She was very nice about it, but it was not organized and I want a stress free experience for a vacation. The place had way way old furniture, it was way hot and literally everything was pretty outdated.

Yeah, the theme is vintage. I'm enjoying finding great old furniture for to match this house.
It has been a cold and rainy spring. People haven't even turned off their furnaces yet. But the air conditioners are in there now.
All of the check in information is on Vrbo.

Not as expected
Cold shower (no hot water). Fireplace didn’t work. 1950’s decor. Didn’t use dishwasher, stove or oven so can’t say anything about them. Plenty of bath towels. Beds were comfortable. Heater was good. Front door and lock are tempermental. VRBO did not send us the lock code. Nor were they helpful. Finally called Carol directly and she helped us get in the front door with a code lock. It was cold and stressful.

There is hot water. The knob is a little different and hard to find the setting sometimes.
The 50's decor is kind of the theme. It's not a problem. It's what I'm trying to do.
The furnace works well so you don't need the fireplace. It is just for show.
There is a lot to enjoy in this house.
While we didn't do much other than sleeping at the property, we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. It's like going to your grandparent's house. Rustic decor throughout. Has all the amenities you need for a peaceful getaway. Even though the back patio was cluttered, it was still nice to grill dinner one night and hang out. The shower was temperamental but once we figured it out, it wasn't that bad. Lift up the handle to turn on, and then move the handle side to side for cold/hot. Do not turn the handle. There is an air conditioner in each bedroom. If you turn both on and put the fan in the hallway, it will cool the house fairly well, except the kitchen. If driving here, bring your own pillows. We flew in so that wasn't an option. Didn't take away from the experience though. Fridge/freezer works great. Dishwasher was okay. We lightly hand washed the dishes before running them through the dishwasher after the first use. Coffee pot, microwave, stove, and toaster work fine. Drinkware, cookware, dishes, and utensils all present. We would certainly rent the house again if we get back to this area. Two hours to the Tetons, and two hours (or less) to West Yellowstone. Just outside of Ririe is a rest area on US 26 heading east towards Swan Valley with spectacular views of the Snake River. Broulims is a great local grocery store for all your needs. Recommend checking out the Rustic Root and Pandora's Chocolate in town and Yellowstone Bear World near Rexburg if you have kids. Enjoy your stay.
