We had the best 49th Anniversary ever. We only stayed 3nights but we did not want to leave. Everything we needed was there and available. It was clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was comfortable and cozy. The screened deck was so amazing with the view of the lake and watching the geese and many different birds. The clouds reflecting into the lake with the trees surrounding it with magnificent every day. The whole experience did not disappoint. The host was sweet and if we needed anything, she would have been right there. We will definitely go back.

Beautifully decorated cottage with thoughtful touches. Spent hours on the screened in porch watching the bird life - ospreys, turkey vultures, geese , herons, etc. Very restful. The cottage was well stocked with everything we needed. Loved our stay.

A very nice place to stay! Clean, pet-friendly, great beds and linens, well-stocked kitchen, excellent communication with the owner while onsite. We enjoyed fishing from the dock, bike rides, walks, and enjoying the view from the screened-in porch.The landscaping was top-notch. I especially enjoyed walking the property and enjoying the gardens. We will be back soon!

Very peaceful

We stayed here so we could visit Falls Mill. Bluebird Rest was a good base to explore the area. My two kids (aged 6 and 3) loved the golf cart and the kayak.

Perfect getaway

We stayed for a week and had an awesome time! This place is perfect. Enjoyed the peace and quite, the beautiful home, and of course, the fishing! On the last day, we experienced an eagle catching a fish! We will be back!
