The Ruff tide house did not disappoint once again! It was convenient to the beach especially with the complimentary golfCart which made it easy peasy! The home with private pool made home pool days both fun and relaxing. They provide an array of pool floats etc that add to the fun. They also have beach chairs you can take to/from beach so you don’t have to haul yours from home. The home set up was perfect for our family’s needs! Loved the grill access and fire pit! Will gladly return again and again!

This was a very clean and very nice property for my wife and I to stay at for a full week. The pool was clean and warm (heated) and we enjoyed it. Great, quiet location while still being close to the beach.

We had such a great stay at this beach house! From the moment we got there, it really felt like a home away from home. The house was super clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip.The location couldn’t have been better—just a short drive on the golf cart to the beach with amazing views and easy access to local restaurants, shops, and things to do. We especially loved having our mornings on the porch with coffee.The kitchen had everything we needed, and you can tell the hosts really care about making their guests feel welcome. Communication was great from booking to checkout, which made everything really easy and stress-free.This was honestly one of the best vacation rentals we’ve stayed in, and we made so many great memories here. We’d definitely come back and highly recommend this beach house to anyone looking for a clean, comfy, and relaxing getaway!

Property management was wonderful! Property was very clean (pool, house). Host was not responsive; we paid to have a golf cart during our 2 week vacation; however, the cart could not maintain the speed limit. The replacement cart arrived the day before our departure and we were not permitted to use it. During our stay, friends of the host came onto the property unannounced and removed another golf cart for their use.

Wonderful place to stay

We had a wonderful stay for a few days over New Year's and Ruff Tide was everything we hoped it would be. The West End of Oak Island is great as well, it's nice to be in a quiet area.

Property was great . really close to the beach and fishing opportunities. Quiet neighborhood for great relaxing vacation. They welcomed pets so it was great for our dogs . We brought our bikes and it was plenty of biking trails. Great plus was golf cart that you can use it for close drive to the beach.

Loved this place!

My husband, mother, two kids and I enjoyed this house! The pool was great and the house was in a great location. My son loved riding in the golf cart with his dad and it was a nice ride to the beach. Great place in OKI!!

This was a great property and amenities. We loved the heated pool and screened in porch. We had a few hiccups but property manager was very quick to get everything fixed for us. Only negative thing I would report is the golf cart is old and we didn’t feel was safe. Could only get up to speeds of 15 at the highest.
