About this property

Get together with friends and family in a large apartment in the Haut Jura.

A former stopover gîte with 18 beds converted into a self-managed apartment for 12 people, the Guinches gîte can accommodate groups or families in good space conditions (174 m²) with 5 bedrooms, a living room, a living room and a kitchen. Sheets are provided. Para-hotel services can be requested in addition: welcome drink, breakfast, take-away meals, typical mountain meals, cleaning package, walking itineraries,...
Located in the village of Bois d'Amont, the cottage is close to shops and services: a bakery is next door, a supermarket is 200 metres away, the village is 500 metres away.
In winter, access to the Les Marmousets leisure area is from our garden, the same goes for the cross-country ski trails. For downhill skiing, the shuttle bus stop is 100 metres away.
In summer, an outdoor area is available with a dining area and barbecue. A private car park with a high wind allows cars and motorcycles to be accommodated in good conditions.

Lionel and Brigette were welcoming and friendly from the outset. Even given that they lived on site (lower level residence) they left us totally to ourselves with access to the gardens and barbeque area, with the added bonus that they we at hand should me need them.The Gite was ideally located for our needs,(we were a group of 4 leaders and 7 teenage young ladies) undertaking walking from Vallorbe to St Cerque. Bois D'Amont is ideally placed to Geneva Airport and has a well stocked supermarket and bakery.The larger town of Les Rousses is only 9 Km away and has two larger supermarkets and lots of restaurants and cafes.La Cure is 9km away where you can catch the train to Nyon with connections to all aspects of Lake Geneva
