Friday - Friday rental during in season - enjoy the beach while others battle traffic Sat & Sun!!
Minimum 3 night rental during off season.
Ideal small family OBX beach box with walkable public beach access (700ft to Sutton Avenue Public Beach Access). Families will love the close proximity to the beach and surrounding amenities.
Fresh linens and towels are provided. Beds will be made when you arrive!
Pet friendly home - up to 2 dogs (see details in rental agreement).

Two levels:
Downstairs - Guests will enter into a private living area with a large sectional and TV connecting with a kitchen area and a full bathroom. Off to the left is a bedroom with a queen bed. Downstairs also offers a separate gathering area with laundry, refrigerator, beach supplies.
Upstairs - Guests will access the main living area through a side door and/or sliding door from the upper deck. Upstairs and Downstairs do not connect via an interior staircase.
The main hall connects three bedrooms (twin bunk beds, queen, and queen with private bathroom) and a hallway bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essential amenities.
Outdoor area includes enclosed outdoor shower, fire pit, and fenced backyard.
The property is furnished and includes linens and towels - linens for 3 queens and 2 twin beds (bunk bed), bath towels for 8 occupants, 1 floor mat per bathroom, 2 hand towels per bathroom, and 1 kitchen towel. Fitted sheets, flat sheets, pillow cases are laundered in between stays.
A starter supply of household cleaning and hygiene products will be provided including: starter roll of paper towels, toilet paper in all bathrooms, laundry detergent, hand soap, dish soap, and dishwasher pods. Additional laundry products, cleaning products, and paper products are not furnished. Tenant is responsible for purchasing any additional supplies and all food and beverages.
Access to streaming services through ROKU TVs. There are two (2) ROKU TVs and two (2) ROKU remotes provided – one upstairs and one downstairs. Tenant(s) will have access to free ROKU apps and subscription apps like HULU, YouTube TV, Netflix, Pandora, etc. Guests must use their own accounts for subscription services. ROKU Guest Mode will automatically log users out of accounts upon Check-Out Date.

My wife and I are residents (born and raised) of Chesapeake, VA who grew up vacationing in Nags Head. After many years of renting places in OBX we finally purchased a place for our family - one daughter, two sons, and one golden retriever ("Leo"). We frequent the property many times during the year with friends and extended family and are happy to offer its location to others when available.
Why they chose this property
Kill Devil Hills (KDH) is a great location in the OBX with great access to the ocean, the sound, shopping and restaurants. By staying in KDH you can avoid the traffic of traveling to the northern OBX beaches. We love the location and its proximity to the ocean (from the driveway you can see the public beach access). From the house you can bike along Memorial Blvd (between Hwy 158 - the main Hwy - and Virginia Dare Trail - the beach road) to several cool locations - Jack Brown's Beer & Burger Joint (0.6 mi), The Bonzer Shack (1.0mi), or Swells'a Brewing (1.6mi),
