This home was built in the early 1900’s, a lot of rich history in the neighborhood. It was fully renovated last year on the inside and given an modern feel. This is a fantastic place to relax with the family or friends. Enough space for a vacation or even a staycation in this COVID atmosphere!

The inside was beautiful and roomy. It is exactly as pictured. The owners were accommodating. The beds were very comfortable and the location was perfect.

I had previously stayed at this property and was excited to find it available for my required dates. Received no contact from host regarding access to entry or host expectations during visit within the 48 hour window prior to stay.I am somewhat disappointed that there was contacts initiated by owner, sensing that it was felt that since I had stayed previously, I should have known the particulars which posed an inconvience to me and my guests.

Very spacious, comfortable for our large family. Loved the set-up of the bedrooms. The kitchen, dining room and living room really accommodated all our needs. My only recommendations for upcoming visitors, bring toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags.

We arrived to a low battery smoke alarm chirping, the remote controls had dead batteries. When we finally got hold of the host he sent batteries for both controls and smoke detector. Unfortunately we were unable to change the smoke detector battery so it started chirping again at 2:30 in the morning. I know these are small things but for what we paid I expected better. We ended up leaving early because of a family emergency. A nice home overall

Thank you so much for your stay. We pride our self on providing excellent accommodations. I want to apologize for the batteries issue on the remotes and smoke detector. Prior to you checking in there was no indication that they needed to be change. Please in the future if the smoke detector goes off and you are unable to change it, let the host know. When we spoke, you told me that it had stopped. I’m glad you still were able to have a pleasant stay.

Milboune Family Reunion

As I had booked property previously in May, it felt like coming home. Pictures of the property as posted remain accurate and true to life. Minor concerns I encountered were immediately addressed and resolved by the property who remained 100% accessible thru out our stay.

This house was really great for our somewhat last minute trip to be with family. We had plenty of bathrooms to accommodate everyone in our family, and comfortable, spacious bedrooms. The kitchen was almost big enough for us, lol, but there were only 4 chairs (we have 5 in our family). Not a deal breaker. We loved playing pool in the dining room during our downtime. We did not use the washer/dryer but they looked new. Note - this is an old house. If you are not used to historic homes, you might be surprised by some of the features. But it's a really beautiful historic home, and we used to live in a similar place. We only used street parking. It's very nicely located close to Rt 13 and easy to get to lots of food and grocery stores, the university and more. We did have issues with the way the cleaning service left some aspects of the house, and I contacted the owner who replied quickly. The house has a lock that connects to an app on a smartphone. It was fine for our stay, but I don't know if more than one person can use the app. Also, the hot tub was not available when we were there, but I didn't see that noted in the property description. All in all, we were satisfied with the house.

Clean and close to campus

We wanted a place to spend time together as a family and the wrap around porch with rocking chairs was perfect in the early June weather. Host was exceptional in his communication with us. Clean and roomy house all updated inside.

Wedding weekend

From the first communication to check-out our stay was seamless and enjoyable. There was nothing our party of 8 was lacking. We were in the Salisbury for my daughter’s wedding and our location couldn’t have been more convenient. We were 20 minutes from home Delmar wedding venue and minutes from downtown restaurants and sights. Will gladly return to this property when in the area. Wonderful historic area with friendly neighbors. Thank you to the hosts!
