We are truly sorry that your stay coincided with an exceptional heatwave and an unusual ant issue, most likely caused by the extreme heat. We contacted a professional pest control company on the day of your departure. The first treatment produced very encouraging results within two days. A second treatment can only be carried out at least 15 days after the first, and it is already scheduled. As very hot days have traditionally been rare during Parisian summers, like most homes around Paris, our house is not equipped with central air conditioning. Instead, it features a reversible underfloor cooling system that circulates cool water beneath the floors, along with five portable air conditioners and three fans. As heatwaves are becoming longer and more frequent, we plan to install central air conditioning before next summer. The property offers two free private parking spaces. The entrance is 2.3 m wide, widening to 2.75 m inside the driveway. The gate is manual. Street parking is free on weekends and €1.20/hour on weekdays. As we only started listing the house on Vrbo/Abritel this year, I was still learning how best to present these practical details. Until now, I had been sharing them directly with guests prior to their arrival. They have now been added to the listing so future guests have all the information they need before booking.
