South-facing Sunny Mountain View on golf course at Monterey Country Club!

I am looking for weekly rentals for the last 3 weeks of November 2026! NO Monthly rental for November 2026. And no October rentals at all.

I do not rent my condo from Dec. 17, 2026 to Jan. 1, 2027.

Welcome to our tastefully decorated, spacious and quiet, south-facing fairway condominium, with HDTVs and wireless high-speed internet access, in the lush setting of Monterey Country Club. This centrally located, five-star country club includes 19 tennis and pickleball courts, 35 pool/spa complexes, two private golf courses, a fitness center, and distinguished dining in an early California-style clubhouse overlooking fairways, lakes, and mountains.
A five-minute drive takes you to El Paseo, the 'Rodeo Drive' of the desert, for sophisticated shopping. fine dining and numerous public golf course are minutes away.

Our comfortably-appointed condominium was completely remodeled in 2007-8 and has two bedrooms: the master bedroom has an Eastern king-size bed (78' wide by 80 ' long), cable TV, and its own updated bathroom; the second bedroom has two twin beds that can be put together to form a king bed and is across the hall from its own renovated bath. All linens, towels (including pool towels), and bedding are provided. Laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, and other household products are also available for your use. And there is a washer and dryer for your convenience.

The spacious living/dining room looks out over the 9-hole golf course to the Santa Rosa mountains and has a vaulted ceiling with fan, fireplace, leather sectional couch, large LCD TV with HD reception and many stations and apps through Xumo streaming boxes on Spectrum, and a dining table that seats six to eight. The kitchen has a breakfast table and chairs, newer stainless appliances, including a two-oven stove, and is well equipped with microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, electric mixer, and a host of pots, pans, dishes, and glassware. There is also high-speed internet access and WiFi Wireless capability.

Eat breakfast, barbecue, or just relax in the sun on the south-facing patio overlooking the double-fairway of the east golf course, with a view to the mountains beyond! Or just curl up on a chaise longue in the quiet front courtyard and read in the sun! Swim in one of three nearby pools or soak in the spa next to a pool! Shop, dine out, and play!

Everything you want is close by, yet you will feel far away in this beautiful, tropical setting!



DUE TO OWNER'S ASTHMA AND SEVERE ALLERGY TO CIGARETTE SMOKE AND TOBACCO VAPOR, WE CAN ONLY RENT TO NON-SMOKERS AND NON-VAPERS.
Also note that the Owner has dogs, but her cleaning lady can make the condo dog-smell free.

Leave used sheets and towels on top of washer for the cleaning lady to wash
Take the trash including recycling to trash bin at end of Gran Via before the flood channel
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
A rental agreement needs to be signed after booking.

Totally enjoyed staying at Julie’s condo. Very walkable area and easy in/out. The patio views are great this time of year with the sun crossing so low in the south sky. Master bedroom is very comfortable and the condo is especially quiet at night. Julie is easy to communicate with and very thorough in instruction. The fresh grapefruit in the tree is an added bonus! Dog hair and smell

After we spent 48 hours cleaning this property, it was fantastic. Dog hair everywhere. Indeed, the dryer filter appeared not to have been cleaned for months. Loose dog food in pantry. Garage reeked of old dog food. Vent over stove had not been cleaned for at least six months. Dog hair even in pots and pans cupboard.

Couldn't Have Been Better!

Everything from beginning to end was extremely professional. The condo was a great place to stay for my 50th birthday getaway. The condo was extremely clean & tastefully decorated. Very convenient location to getting around in the Palm Desert/Palm Springs area. We would choose to use this condo again if we plan another trip to Palm Desert.The owner (Julie), was very detailed in every way and being our first time to rent from VRBO we were a little nervous and didn't know what to expect. It just really "couldn't have been better."

This is a fantastic condo!

We loved our month in this condo. The owner couldn't have been more helpful with the contract, clear instructions, and attention to every detail that provided for a really fine experience for us. The condo is open and airy, has very nice furniture, two super sunny patios, a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and top-of-the-line linens and dishes. We couldn't have found a better location, close to shopping, parks, and the weekend street fair. We did lots of walking and were grateful for the owner's suggestions and ideas about hikes, stores, and activities. Anyone would be very pleased to stay here. The southern view from the golf side of the condo is incredible...mountains, two fairways, palm trees, and pools. There are even grapefruits to pick off the tree in the front patio. You can't do better than this piece of paradise!!

I love the area! Now that I have recently graduated from law school at a very advanced age -- a second career for me -- I am renting out this condo which is my own personal condo, when I won't be able to use it. As I have asthma and allergies, my condo is perfect for people who have asthma and allergies! The floors are tile, with area rugs; there are no curtains to trap dust; and most of the furniture is solid wood or MDF from Pottery Barn. I also live just north of Lake Tahoe, CA. in the cute and fun mountain town of Truckee in the summer. Tahoe summers are as perfect as desert winters! Do send me an email or give me a call. I would love to tell you about this rental property. I repeat that my condo is non-smoking. Pets are not allowed!

Why they chose this property

I love the desert and I was seeking a winter home away from the snow in Tahoe. Winters in the desert enjoy perfect 70-72 degree sunny weather, and I bought at Monterey Country Club because of its beautiful landscaping, central location to Palm Desert and other desert towns, and quiet lifestyle! Further, my condo is in the quiet rear of the club, affording a quiet and restful stay!

What makes this property unique

I love looking at the Santa Rosa mountains across the lush golf course; they are so beautiful. I go to the Tennis Club at Monterey when I am at my condo, and the tennis staff fixes me up with others to play tennis with. The tennis club has a very active membership and playing tennis at Monterey CC is very enjoyable. I also like the pools that are in each neighborhood. Swimming at the pool is a great way to meet one's neighbors.
