We absolutely loved our stay with Jenn. The property is perfectly situated for people who like to have easy access to restaurants and commerce, but love to have quiet and privacy. The beds are comfy, the living space is beautiful, the beach is one minute away, Jen is a great host...10 on 10 no notes :)

Great house. Great location.

We had a wonderful stay at this home. The deck with the hammock was lovely. We were able to walk along the beach to dinner and it was a short drive to West End and West Bay. With older kids we would have walked the beach more and driven less, but our little ones didn't quite have the stamina.

Great place to stay!

My husband and I stayed here for a week with our 10 year old daughter.This is super chill house so close to the beach.We met some local cats, and enjoyed watching the island rabbits, lizards/geckos, macaws, etc.The plants that grow around there are amazing!Jen & Tommy are kind people and they helped us sort out out activities and transportation.Transportation to and from the airport was easy and efficient You can walk the beach to snorkel, eat, drink, shop, sight-see.Everything you need is right there.Thank you again for the relaxing stay! Hope to see you all again!

Wonderful stay in Roatan!

Wonderful stay in Roatan! My husband and I had an amazing two week dive vacation at Casa Palosa. In our opinion Turtle Bay is the best place to stay on Roatan being within easy walking distance of both West Bay and West End. Clearwater Adventures for diving is top notch and the Boat House restaurant for excellent pub food are about a 3 minute walk away from the house. And all this walking is on the beautiful beach! Bring bug spray for evening strolls and I would recommend water shoes. The two bedroom apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures and they generously include air conditioning in the price. It is a one minute walk to the beach in a quiet and peaceful ex-pat community. Jennifer and Tommy were so friendly and helpful! We absolutely recommend staying here!

Jennifer came to Roatan in 2014 from New Jersey, and Tommy has been on the island since 2010 when he built Turtle Beach Resort. We built the house in 2015, and Tommy owns & runs Roatan Disc Golf. In 2018, Jennifer co-founded the local animal organization Roatan Operation Animal Rescue (ROAR). We live at Casa Pasola with our 2 dogs Tiki, MamaDog (aka Weezy), and our cat James Christopher.

Why they chose this property

Our location & accessibility makes our neighborhood unique. The beach is not crowded, even in peak season. Snorkel only 5 minutes after walking out your door, and maybe find an octopus and moray eel! You'll be close enough to nightlife to enjoy it, but far enough to sleep at night. Our neighbors are all full-time residents, and it's one of the safest neighborhoods on Roatan.

What makes this property unique

Relax with a view of the treetops, where it's always buzzing with hummingbirds, lizards, & an occasional iguana. A flock of macaws flies overhead every morning & evening. Take a morning stroll on the path down to the beach w/ coffee in hand & watch the dive boats and water taxis go by.
