## Mendenhall Room

Stay in a private guest room within a remodeled Tudor-style home in Juneau's Mendenhall Valley. The Mendenhall Room is located on the **second level** and provides a comfortable and affordable home base for exploring the area.

The private room includes a queen bed, nightstand with lamp, dresser with large mirror, casual chair, and plenty of closet and floor space.

### Shared Home Environment

This is a private room within a **shared five-bedroom, three-bath home**. Guests have access to the home's shared kitchen, dining room, living room, TV room, laundry room, and three full bathrooms.

The kitchen features granite countertops and is stocked with supplies and equipment available for guests to use. You'll also have your own shelf in the refrigerator.

The home has a peaceful, roommate-style atmosphere. Other occupants may include longer-term residents, so guests should be comfortable sharing common areas and respecting the routines and privacy of others.

Common areas are cleaned twice per month and may not necessarily be cleaned immediately before your stay.

Mendenhall Room

The Mendenhall room at Grandma's House was clean, warm, comfortable and conveniently located in the Mendenhall Valley. There are welcoming living room and parlor areas, the kitchen is fully furnished, bathrooms are spotless and the price is very reasonable. I definitely will plan to stay there again. It's becoming my Juneau home away from home.

Great Juneau Stay!

Great stay as always. Came here this time last year and chose this as our place to stay. Was not disappointed then and wasn't disappointed this time around either! Clean and well kept, great amenities like washer and dryer (bring your own soap). No complaints!

Good value

The property was very clean and neat. Choosing a shared common space made me nervous but I was pleased to find the property very clean and neat. It was quiet and the location was perfect for the sightseeing I did while in Juneau. It was a great value and I would happily stay there again.

The one single upstairs communal bathroom serving six separate accommodations had a one single nearly spent bar of soap for everyone's use. That is substandard and gross. Plus most establishments don't have their guests perform a list of chores before checking out.

Perfect for our needs

Able to walk to glacier. Not much nearby as far as shopping/food but we knew that ahead of time and if you have a car it's close to anything you might need or want. It's also right on the bus line! Everything was clean and as expected. Thank you!
