The place was perfect for a girl friends trip. The kitchen was well stocked and we really enjoyed the coffee supplies and breakfast bars. We enjoyed walking the neighbor and the Town of Cary. It’s a great location! Thanks so much.
Everything was GREAT. I’m old fashioned and it would be so much nicer, for a relic like me, if the communication was done via phone call rather than the messaging thru vrbo. Beautiful property thanks for allowing us to stay.
Yes, our stay was wonderful. The unit was very clean & nice. Only negative would be the fan in the half bath which is so very loud. Otherwise, everything was perfect!
We loved this town home. It was very clean and comfortable. The host was super professional and responsive. A very well stocked kitchen and overall comfortable environment!
Christmas visit to parents living in a Cary retirement community. Found the townhouse very welcoming, neat, clean, and in a great location. This is our second stay and we're looking forward to our next family visit.
This was the best stay i’ve ever had whilst being in this area. The host was so helpful and so kind! This property was like a home away from home and if i could give it more than a five star i would! i will 100% make this my sole stay when i visit.
Family from across the country gathered here to meet with friends and catch ncfc vs dcfc. The house was everything we wanted as an alternative to hotels. We were able to stay together and enjoy each other's company in one space.
The house was clean and comfortable. Communication with the host was great throughout the process. Perfect location for catching a match at Wakemed.

Very close to shopping and downtime. Clean. Roomy. Downsides were uncomfortable mattresses and clothes dryer did not work.
Perfect location and space for our Christmas trip. Just a bit cold!
We had a few problems with heat and hot water and host was on it with smiles even Xmas eve.
They provided xtra touches which added to thee charm of the pace such as kurig cups and snacks.
Only thing I would change is shower nozzle, was so cheap had trouble rincing my haIr, and better window coverings in the master to hopefully get to sleep a bit later!

Filthy
As we walked in the front storm door did not close, there was a terrible musty smell, the front porch, carpet, upstairs bathrooms, baseboards, coffee maker moldy old coffee grounds, back deck and furniture were all filthy. I have pictures.
I would not recommend staying here.

The overall stay was just okay. First issue was a door that wouldn’t open properly. The owner has been aware apparently and mentioned it in the check in message but hasn’t made a point to fix the issue. We had to get a little rough to get in and wasn’t sure if we were going to get in. Not a great first impression after traveling with your friends and family. Second issue was a musty unpleasant smell in the whole house that never resolved. Possibly past pet smell. Next was very rough walls and need for drywall, trim, and paint repair. Pictures didn’t match the property overall or the quality of stay. Lastly, my kids took a bath and a chunk of hair floated out of the drain. A easy detail for cleaners to overlook but should be considered in a shared tub. Furniture was comfortable and kitchen was good and clean. Just various issues that made the stay overall less than ideal for the cost.

Might not recommend :-/
Definitely not outstanding, superior, or excellent as a 5🌟 would depict.
Weather was in the 70’s and the windows were filthy and the screens were full of webs so we couldn’t open the windows —didn’t want spiders getting in.
All the doors and upstairs floors squeaked considerably
If anyone were up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom the squeaking noise woke us all up!
Beds were memory foam extremely hot and sweat filled sleep.
The smaller room bed sheets smelled horrible like a dirty body they were clearly not replaced
The fabric on the couch and chairs also had a horrible odor as if they have been disinfect steam cleaned for years!
Both fans in bathrooms went on regardless when the light was on.
The fan noise was unbearable!!
And you could not hear anyone calling for you if they were on
The master shower was tiny only a 5’6” 150lb person fits!!
No rug to wipe wet feet when comin in from outside so wet feet were tracked constantly bc it rained a bit while there.
Bare minimum for kitchen supplies as well.
So you see no it clearly wasn’t a 5 star accommodation
More like 2.5 stars.
I would only recto some who doesn’t care about all the things I’ve listed.
You get what you pay for !

Elizabeth, We are so sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. This is a 1970's townhome that has been remodeled, but it is still a 1970's townhouse that may have some quirks. The mattresses are definitely a personal preference and we receive rave reviews from most guests. We will definitely address putting a floor mat at the back door (one is at the front door) and getting the windows / screens cleaned before we get too far into springtime. We will also address the sheets on the beds, but not sure what could have happened there as we have a great cleaning team and they wouldn't normally miss something like that. We do deep / steam clean our cloth furniture periodically, but will address that as well. Thank you for your feedback.

Disappointed
I reached out to Gayla through VRBO messages the day before our stay. She never replied. When it was time to check in we still did not have check-in instructions. I had to call VRBO to reach out to the property owner. She apologized when she called me to give me check-in instructions. We brought in some trash from the car to throw away and we found out that the trash can didn’t operate like it should. The foot lever was broken. The cleanliness of the bedding was not great. There was quite a bit of hair left on bedding on two of the beds. One of the bathrooms had a nail popped up in the threshold that hurts when accidentally stepped on in the middle of the night. The fans in every bathroom sound like jet engines. One thing we did not care for was the front door deadbolt automatically went locked a little while after you entered the home. It then would randomly sound like it was locking through the day and night. The first night we were all tucked in and I heard it go off. I had to make sure nobody was entering the unit in the middle of the night.
Overall our stay was great. The house was furnished well and decorated nicely. The neighborhood was nice and we felt very safe. The are was close to where we needed to be and there is lots around with easy access. I wish Gayla would have been easier to communicate with and I would have told her about the few things that stood out to us and not left it on this review.

Michelle - I do apologize that your experience was not great. I may have mentioned that we were in the process of switching to a new management system and unfortunately, we discovered some additional issues as we were working with your reservation causing the communication issues. We have hopefully fixed those and are so sorry that they weren't fixed while you were here! We strive to communicate better than what you experienced. This should not be the experience for future guests. We also totally appreciate the other feedback and will take steps to correct all of that!!
The house was just as described. The kitchen was fully stocked the house was super clean and our stay was great. Gayle was super responsive and so nice. I couldn’t have asked for a better host! Thank you Gayle.
We were visiting with our daughter in Raleigh, but wanted a place where our younger kids could swim. This condo is so nice with comfortable beds and furniture. The development is great, with a very nice swimming pool just a few minutes walk or drive. Gayla was always so quick to respond and very kind and professional! Would absolutely stay in this lovely property again!
We were in town to help our son move to a new apartment, so we didn't have nearly enough time to enjoy this gem of a property. The 3 BR can easily accommodate a small group. The kitchen was well-stocked and the living room was sweet and comfortable. The wooded, quiet location is centrally located, yet feels totally peaceful. I highly recommend!
