We picked this location because it’s located on stop # 7 of the water taxi, which brings you to downtown Fort Lauderdale, all the way to North Fort Lauderdale. You are also a 10 minute walk to the beach. It sleeps 5, (two queen beds and a pullout couch). There’s an outdoor pool, hot tub, gym and on site restaurant. You are right next to the Galleria and close to Central Beach, which is a fun area of town. The parking is valet only (paid directly to them) at $50/day.

Great Central Access

E we stayed in for Lauderdale for a couple days before our cruise because flights were cheaper a couple days earlier. We didn’t know what we would do in the area but found plenty to entertain ourselves- nice beach, great food, lovely pool area and spent some time in the nearby Birch State Park. The hotel’s hot tub wouldn’t get/stay hot but the maintenance guy tried every morning. They are redoing the lobby and now have a pool table and shuffle board which my kiddos enjoyed. Definitely a great place to spend a couple days with the family.

Why they chose this property

We have always loved going to Florida. A couple years ago we went to the Fort Lauderdale area and loved the area so much we decided to purchase a condo! We like this location because you are right on the intercoastal and within walking distance to the beach. While it's cold in Minnesota over the winter, we love escaping down to South Florida.

What makes this property unique

Publix is right across the street, so many times we get by without needing a car. You are close to the beach and the condo comes with beach chairs and a cart you can use. We've updated the balcony, so it's a relaxing place to be at the end of the night.
