Accessible via an outdoor staircase, it is located in a house adjoining the owners’ home. The cottage features a beautiful private terrace offering breathtaking views of the plain and the Pyrenees. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a sunny breakfast, an al fresco dinner, or simply unwind with a good book while taking in the soothing scenery. The hosts, who are very discreet, also give you access to their pool—a real treat after a day of sightseeing. The pool area is designed to ensure your peace and quiet, so you can enjoy it to the fullest. The cottage is ideally located for exploring the treasures of Cathar Country by car, bike, horseback, or on a hike through the magnificent natural landscapes of the Montagne Noire. Visit the Castles of Lastours, which offer spectacular views of the valley. A little further away, explore the majestic Citadel of Carcassonne, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. The impressive Mazamet footbridge is also a must-see. The Brousses Paper Mill offers a glimpse into traditional craftsmanship. Local amenities (restaurant, bakery, supermarket, doctor’s office, pharmacy) are located in the heart of the village, less than 900 metres away. On the same level (ground floor), the holiday rental includes: - A living room with a seating area featuring a sofa bed for two people and a TV, a dining table, and an open kitchen (fridge-freezer, microwave, Senseo espresso machine). - A bedroom with a 140x190 cm bed. - A separate bathroom (shower, toilet). Private, secure parking on the property. You must clean the cottage before departure. Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage.
