A beautiful relaxing gem

What a wonderful stay and little paradise!- super friendly hosts- beautiful views and sunset- sourrounded by wine fields- heated swimming pool & spa- dog friendly- bbq- 2 mins drive from the supermarket, bakery etc- near attractions as Carcassonne, the book-village, hikes...- and more and more...Thank you for a marvellous vacation Anne& Frédéric!

Beautiful house

This is a gorgeous house with plenty of space. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The decor is lovely and the beds are comfortable. The aircon in the bedrooms works very well and although there isn't aircon downstairs we didn't feel we needed it. There is plenty of outside space too. The pool area is great and very private. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. It is great to have them onsite but they never imposed. Well situated for visiting Carcassone. A very peaceful location.

Le Pigeonnier was perfect for our purpose: relaxation in a beautiful rural setting. Surrounded by vineyards and a floral garden, the pool is a highlight. This property is clean and well maintained. Our hosts were delightful and went out of their way to assist us. It was close enough to the village that we could do our morning jaunt to the bakery by bicycle. It is close to a supermarket also. We all enjoyed swimming and al fresco dining very much. Plenty of rooms and beds, so everyone can have as little or as much privacy as they like. The countryside is ripe for exploration by bicycle, and the location is a great jumping off point for a day trip to the medieval castle at Carcassonne.

Lovely Gite surrounded by vineyards

An imposing property containing a spacious gite of character with all modern conveniences. A rural location surrounded by vineyards but just a few minutes from the town with supermarket and restaurants. Very well equipped with everything you need. Comfortable seating in lounge, modern kitchen appliances, and a dining area. Master bedroom spacious and large bed comfortable and plenty of wardrobe space. Two shower rooms. Spotlessly clean and air conditioning in upstairs bedrooms. Lovely pool with plenty of outside furniture to relax in. Owners very welcoming and on site if needed but otherwise discrete.

Nos vacances dans le gîte d'Anne et Frédéric

Cette location correspond parfaitement à sa description. Le gîte est décoré avec beaucoup de goût et est très chaleureux. La piscine est très bien entretenue et il est très agréable d'y flâner toute une journée ou entre deux excursions dans cette belle région qui a tant à offrir. Le plus est la présence chaleureuse (sans être intrusive) des propriétaires Anne et Frederic (sans oublier la chienne Cannelle). Ils nous ont donné plein de conseils de visites et nous étions toujours contents de leur raconter notre journée, comme en famille. Bref c'est l'endroit parfait pour se ressourcer mais aussi découvrir Carcassonne et sa region.
