The house was great other than the dust on everything and the cockroaches in the kitchen area. I notified the owner and they refunded the cleaning fees. Good news we didn’t bring any home with us.

Nice location

This property is in a great location of the main drag in Pigeon Forge. We had a problem with the plumbing in the basement that was fixed the next day.

Location is convenient to the Parkway.

Stay was nice but property is a bit outdated. We booked because included a community swimming pool, but this was not available when we arrived. We had two very disappointed children.

As discussed, the resort no longer allowing access to the pool was a short-notice surprise to me as well, and I've removed it from the listing and notified everyone checking in after you. The cabin underwent multiple five-figures worth of renovations with new appliances, furniture, TVs, and painting in the 90 days between your initial reservation and your vacation so I am confused at it being "dated" in comparison to your original booking. Either way, I've deployed your feedback so future guests have better stays. Thank you, and you're welcome back anytime.

Good should have been better

Pictures was fairly accurate. The cabin had updated appliances. The cabin should have exterminated prior to our arrival. The cockroaches created an unpleasant environment. They appeared in several places. There were several areas throughout the cabin that had spiderwebs and places that needed to be dusted. The mattress on the lower area had a creaky sound and it was uncomfortable.

Hey Julie, thank you for the feedback. Regarding your insect comments—you mentioned this concern to me via the platform the morning after you arrived. I was surprised, replied almost immediately with a receipt showing that the cabin had received its quarterly pest treatment 10 days prior, and asked for more information so I could rectify the situation for your stay….and got no response. Your message also mentioned wanting to stay in a different cabin, then proceeded to stay for 3 more nights. All of which were without any replies or comments from you or your guests. I am still a little lost on the severity or accuracy of the issue here, but will be going up to the cabin tomorrow to personally make sure it’s perfect for future guests. Thanks for staying!

Hot Tub & Fireplace Issues

The location is close to the parkway strip with lots of food/entertainment options and the amenities matched the listing. We stayed the week between Christmas and New Years, so everywhere was packed with long wait times for restaurants. Our main complaints for the house are around cleanliness - found empty water bottles and candy wrappers from past guests in the room with bunk beds, cob webs in several areas, and the he hot tub was supposedly drained/cleaned/sanitized, but wasn’t full and had obvious leaves in the filter. Contacted the property manager and they filled, but the leaves remained which makes me question whether it was cleaned since there was a cover protecting from leaves. Didn’t use it for this reason, which was a big draw in selecting this property. Also, the fireplace is hard to light and you need a wand lighter or matches along with some google/YouTube videos to figure out. The instructions said to just turn on timer but that didn’t do anything. We eventually figured out and were able to use, but was a struggle to get started every night.

Hi Nancy, thank you for the feedback. I've had our cleaning crew re-clean the room with the bunk beds, and they have pulled all sofas/bed/furniture out to deep clean the cabin top to bottom. We had the maintenance team fix the fireplace during your stay and it was working when they left. I wish you had brought it to my attention that it messed up again versus taking things into your own hands. Either way, I personally came up to the cabin and figured out that a part on the gas ignitor safety switch was malfunctioning and turning the gas off--so thats now fixed. You're welcome back anytime. It was exactly as pictured. Great location and very clean. The kitchen faucet needs to be fixed but overall a great place to stay.

Great Location

This property was in a great location in a nice quiet neighborhood but still close to the action. We enjoyed our stay and loved sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs.

Cozy

The cabin was a little more compact than I originally thought. Looks like it's under new ownership, and the owners are in the process of making the cabin better. Overall, this was one of the best stays I've had. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!
