The location was great. Close to everything in a nice and safe area. Alison was quick to respond and helped get us a parking permit with very short notice. Super comfortable bed too.

Property was as described. The host was very easy to communicate with and made herself available. We rented bikes to get down to the capital area. Was not a bad trip harder on the way back! Lots of fine restaurants. Felt safe walking around. Was lucky enough to park out front and did not move the car for 3 days. Our only struggle was the clawfoot tub. It was really cool but proved challenging to get in/out of but we managed. Would definitely stay again!

Great communication with the host. Quiet and clean. Essentially a hotel room with a better rate, more character and less hustle and bustle than an actual hotel. Easy walk to the Library of Congress where my meetings were.

Our host was very receptive, organized and cheerful! The location is in a beautiful neighborhood. Our bed was very comfortable. I only wish we had known about the luggage storage options before we booked, while planning our itinerary.

Castle on the Hill

Great bed, clean room, walking distance to The National Mall. A few blocks to the Eastern Market area with great dining choices. I would stay again, or recommend.

The room was clean, quiet and cozy and the bed very comfortable. Great location near the park and Eastern Market, and there is a laundromat a few blocks away so laundry wasn't an issue. Communication was great and Alison was very responsive.

Cozy and Clean

Perfect for my husband and myself since we were out mostly during the day. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets soft. We did not need to cook but the small fridge was handy. Overall, terrific spot.

Christmas present

Beautiful, clean, comfortable room, with more amenities than I expected, sweet little coffee bar, mini fridge and microwave in the room. Beautiful neighborhood. We went to see Jelly Roll and Post Malone at Fedex stadium as my husbands Christmas present. It was a great experience all the way around.

The host Alison was very responsive & available. The apartment was appointed with the basics, & it was so nice to have a keurig coffee maker in the room with creamer & coffee pods. The claw foot tub set up as a shower worked fine, but a warning for people with mobility issues that you must step into it without railings. The key pad to enter the building & room was clear & easy to use. All in all a great place to stay in a lovely neighborhood!
A nice walk to the Capitol after dinner & a long drive to DC from NY.

Wow the bed was very comfortable! This apartment is an absolute gem in DC. The neighborhood is beautiful and walkable, with everything you could ask for near by. Allison was so helpful and communicative, one of the best hosts I've ever had. A wonderful place to stay!!
