Great unit , very nice

Very nice unit in a great location. Unit was very clean and stocked with everything that I needed and more. All of the appliances are upgraded and clean. I definitely would stay in this unit again.

Amazing Maui

We loved the property and how things had been updated. The only downfall was the night time security guard. He is very rough around the edges at check-in, to put it mildly. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice condo

The condo is conveniently located in Kehei. We liked that there were beach accessories for us and our kids. The only down sides were we weren’t notified about pest control, they just knocked one day and came right in to spray. Also the beds were fairly uncomfortable. Other than that it was clean and had everything we needed.

Very nice unit

We stayed there for a week in early November and we would definitely rent the unit again. The living room AC works well, the kitchen was clean, without any of the little ants that frequent Maui, and the bed was comfortable. There's a nice counter with a couple stools and also a table with chairs, so there is plenty of space to eat, or set up laptops if you need to get some work done. If I were going to improve one thing I would put in a new bedroom AC. The current unit works but is a little underpowered if it is hot out.

Just don’t…

IF you like a large spot of thick fuzzy mold growing on the wall next to your bed as well as an infestation of several hundred ants go here. Was told it was due to a hole in the wall that would be repaired later. Had to go through multiple avenues to have it rectified. I kept getting passed onto someone else to “solve” the issue. IF you like MANY people smoking on a “non smoking” property go here. The bed was AWFUL, I slept on the couch at times because it was so bad. The unit is right next to the elevator so you get all the noise coming in near your bedroom at all hours. If you like being cornered by employees telling you about their personal life problems rather than leave you to relax go here. Worst of all the unit next to it or the next one over has permanent tenants. They smoke continuously, had a LOUD yappy untrained dog that barks day and night and is mean. It actually attacked the feet of a young couple waiting to enter the elevator as the dog and owner exited. The dog went after me multiple times so I had to wait for safety if they were near the elevator or close by. UNACCEPTABLE on MANY levels. NEVER AGAIN will I stay in this unit. I have stayed in the complex before. Check in and front desk people were great. If you want a quiet, smoke free, mold free, bug free and comfortable bed go elsewhere. The lock code is NOT changed for each guest. The welcome papers dated MONTHS ago had the same code and I was told by maintenance it’s the same too. This could be a tragedy!

Comfy Place, Convenient Location

The place was overall quite nice and was a good size for a couple. Compared to other units in the Maui Vista complex, it's been updated, and the kitchen is comfortably modern. The location in Kihei, directly across the main road from a string of beaches, yet close to plenty of food and stores, was perfect for us. The community grills were well maintained and regularly cleaned, and where we did a ton of grilled ono and zucchini. The beach chairs were much appreciated, but no beach umbrella provided. It's really needed, so we purchased a reasonable one and left it in the closet (might still be there). There were a couple downsides, like the screen door easily getting off-track, and the blinds in the bedroom not really blocking much light. I should have sent the property manager a note about that, but it is pretty minor. Also, the building can echo, so outside noises around the elevators can be heard, but people generally followed the quiet hours guidelines. The pools can get overly-splashy kids/adults, but we mostly used them for evening lounging. Some advice: Maui can get very windy, and we once got back to a very fine layer of dust because we didn't close the window vents. Close them! We did see a few small to medium size insects in the kitchen area, and were set to complain to the property manager before reading in the documentation that we needed to throw the trash out daily. There were enough bags provided, and doing this mostly got rid of the bugs. Would return!

The condo was implacable clean and had so many extras needed for a great beach vacation, such as snorkeling gear, umbrella, beach chairs, boogie boards, towels, and cooler. The kitchen was very complete with all necessary things to make your own meals, minus the food of course! We loved having a washer and dryer too. Location wise, it was perfect! Walking distance to the beautiful beach and a bit longer walk, but very manageable, to shops. Thank you to our host, we hope to return one day !

Our owner had left many beach items for use (chairs, sand toys for kids, beach towels). Shower near pool for rinsing off. Security always present in the evening mostly for parking enforcement (we didn't hear of anything else). Unit had washer/dryer so we didn't have to pack as many clothes. Very clean. CBIP checked up on us frequently.

Great spot, located to a ton of restaurants and bars that are in walking distance as well as the beach across the street. Would definitely stay there again, the condo was extremely clean and had all the basic amenities. The only thing I would change is the timer on the AC

The stay was great however the pullout couch springs took their toll on my ribs and back. The property and unit were very clean and well maintained. Would stay there again and suffer out the couch springs.
