Dear guest Maurizio, I am happy to read that you liked the location and the general equipment of our apartment. As you can see, the 5 star comment is the most frequent one we got from our estimated guests. Indeed, the apartment is situated in the most appreciated part of the old town (a five star location as you said) and on the most picturesque street which is the photographic number one of all beautiful streets and lanes of intra muros Avignon (rue des Fourbisseurs) If you book a place like that in the middle of southern France summer and during the highest season of the year, you should not expect it to be especially quiet, you should be ready to do with some rumors from outside, reflections of happy life, the price for being in the heart of everything this beautiful city has to offer. Also, you booked a relatively cheap place without air-con but all the same equipped with an air cooler. A place with air-con is much more expensive, maybe you realized that when checking your options. The apartment has always been appreciated for being well equipped. There are 3 types of coffee makers at our guest’s disposal, an American one, one for pressing coffee and a third one for making expresso. I am really sorry that there is no fourth option like an Italian machine with pads which would have satisfied your needs. We don’t have one like that for ecological reasons. And one last thing: you left without paying the agreed on cleaning fee and left our housekeeper waiting for it after having told her you would pass. That is not gentleman like. All the same, I wish you all the best in future, many satisfying holidays and maybe a more realistic view of how things are in life. Claudia
