This home is located in one of the most coveted locations in the Charleston area - South Mount Pleasant. This laid back one story ranch has four bedrooms and two baths. Three of the bedrooms have brand new beds and the fourth bedroom has a large children's suite which features two sets of bunk beds for the youngsters. This home has a large private back yard with a propane grill; and it is pet friendly.
Located just a short two miles from beautiful Sullivan's Island, ten minutes from Isle of Palms, and fifteen minutes to historic Downtown Charleston; the location could not be better. Within a five minute drive you will find grocery stores, restaurants, bars, and shopping. The kitchen has an eat in breakfast table that seats 4, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. The living room has multiple couches, a large TV, books, and is great for lounging after a day at the beach or downtown Charleston; the attached dinning table seats 6.

2022 updates: NEW BEDS! New stainless steel gas grill. New dryer.
2023 updates: Fresh interior paint job, new living room furniture (new couch, love seat, swivel chair) as well as a new breakfast table in the kitchen. Slip covers were installed over all living room furniture for protection.

Cleaning information: At this property we provide starter "essentials" like a hotel, but we don't have the maids come back each day to restock what was used so depending on the length of your stay and number of guests, you may need to buy additional supplies. In addition to the complete professional cleaning between guests, we provide starter bathroom essentials (hand soap, body wash/shampoo), two rolls of TP per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, hand soap for the kitchen sink, two trash bags, laundry detergent, and dish washer detergent. We also provide all bed linens and leave one towel/hand towel per guest the home sleeps. We do not provide beach towels or chairs.
Parking: The driveway can accommodate 2-3 vehicles, on-street parking is not allowed.

We had an excellent long weekend in Charleston. The home is perfectly located that we never had to drive more than 20 minutes. We explored Shem Creek, downtown, and Sullivan's island. Definitely a perfect spot for a larger group!

We could not have asked for a better place. Our group of 7 flew in from all different places for a wedding, and Robert was incredibly accommodating. The house was very spacious & perfectly clean. Great Location

Quiet neighborhood that is close to activities. Lots of room for families. Enjoyed our stay but gave 4 out of 5 since we had to buy paper products and left some for the next guests.

Excellent home and location

We loved our stay! This is the absolute perfect location with convenience to everything in mount pleasant and short, easy drives to downtown Charleston and Sullivan's Island. The house was great with more than enough room. We loved the fenced in backyard for our dog! The only hiccup we had was some issue with the internet, but that was very minor! I would 100% return!

Stayed in house for 4 nights. Comfortable clean house close to beaches, restaurants and cafes. We had plenty of space and house had a nice backyard and small patio with a grill.

Mt Pleasant getaway

This home had all the amenities we wanted and the location was perfect to get to Sullivan's Island and to Charleston. It had plenty of space and really nice bathrooms. The one downside was that the house wasn't as clean as it should have been. The outside grill wasn't working and wasn't clean either.

Property needs work

The property needs a good refresher and cleaning. The linen closet was a jumble of stuff. The master bedroom toilet would not flush unless you opened the back and pulled the handle. That is not acceptable.

Right in the middle

We had a very nice stay at the house this past weekend. We had 7 adults and all worked out well. We could have used a queen bed in place of one of the bunk beds but we made it work. We were attending. a wedding in Mt Pleasant and spent some time in Charleston and the location was very convenient for both. We didn’t cook at the house but we could have used some more coffee cups. Overall a very nice stay for all.

Nice stay

Great neighborhood and close to the running / biking trails. 3 miles to sullivans Island beach. Isle of palms was maybe 8 miles. Grocery stores very nearby. There were a lot of misquitos or other biting bugs in the backyard. House was stocked nicely although we brought alot of our own stuff. We had a few cars due to varying work schedules but were able to curb park as needed. It was a nice friendly place to stay.

Great house

The house was great and fit all of us comfortably and most of the necessary things for a stay. I was disappointed the oven had burn debris at the bottom so we couldn’t use it and the floors weren’t as clean as I would like but I think with a few rugs in the place that problem is an easy fix in the long run. Great location, close to the beach, and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.

Disappointed

We rented this home for a family wedding at The Citadel & reception in Charleston. The location was convenient to everything we needed to quickly get to. My siblings also rented homes in the area for the wedding so I was able to compare several rentals in the area. While the house is a good size, it’s dated and lacked basic essentially like coffee cups, wine glasses, paper products etc. The bed linens were so old they were actually uncomfortable and rough to the touch. The few towels that were supplied were very thin , and looked like something you might see being used in a car wash. The house needs a deep cleaning especially under the beds, closet floors, kitchen cupboards etc. It would be better suited for a bachelor/ bachelorette party then a family gathering.
