Not as Advertised, Repairs Needed, Refund Denied

We relied on having a turn-key ground-floor rental for my family during my husband's surgery and recovery. Among other things, the apartment needed work to provide wifi, plumbing, cabinetry, and lacked batteries for remotes, firesticks, advertised furniture and parking permit(s) or gate fobs. Guaranteed parking was at the top of several flights of stairs in a parking garage despite our need for ground floor access. Owner made show of fixing the long list of repairs after the check in, on our time, but we did not have the capacity to facilitate this work during our stay. After the third maintenance person visit (in 24 hrs) and a 2nd call for a clogged toilet, and with a still significant list of necessary repairs and adjustments ahead, we had to leave (find alternate accomodations) and, despite immediate notice of vacation, owner was unwilling to refund any of the remaining 15 nights, insisting it was reasonable for us to be available for repairs, furniture deliveries and more during our stay.
