Stay in Houston

The Unit was nice once you were inside. However, the neighborhood was super shady and the shady characters hanging around outside made us feel unsafe at times as that we had to go in late at night. The parking was not left open for us so we constantly worried about being towed.

Never got any information on how to check in and took an hour to get in touch with host so we could get in once we were already there. Messaged on Vrbo and tried several times to call to no avail. Luckily, there was a neighbor there and he was able to get in touch with the property manager. $25 was returned for that. Property was in a not so nice location. Did not feel safe outside after hours. Apartment was dirty. Carpet in back bedroom was in need of cleaning. “ wished I thought to take a picture of that” trash behind the bed and one room and behind the dresser in the other room. Oven was dirty, cabinets had grease all over them. I had to wash the coffee pot because it was dirty. Furniture falling apart. Sit in the dining room chairs with caution. we stayed in Houston because my mother was having testing done at MD Anderson. She almost hit the floor when she sat in one if the dining chairs. The couch has nasty stains and garbage all in it. Just felt filthy. We stayed one night and had to be up and at the hospital at 6 AM the next morning. If we had time we would’ve packed our things and took it with us then, but we weren’t able to do that until later that evening after all of the testing. As soon as we got checked into our hotel, iMessage the host to let her know that we were out and how disappointed I was with the situation. No refund or offer to compensate. Rented for 4 nights and stayed 1. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Great option for MD Anderson, NRG Stadium, etc.

The house was clean and comfortable. I am a patient at MD Anderson and I stayed here with my family for about six weeks so that I could receive radiation treatment. The property is a very short drive to the hospital and you can get there without having to drive on the interstate. We did not attend any events at NRG stadium, but I think it would also be a great option for that as well.
