Exceeded Expectations!

This was the best stay we've ever had in Richmond. My family (including two young kids) were coming to celebrate Christmas and January and Tina left up her decorations - it was so amazing - the kids LOVED having their presents under the tree. There were other special touches like that all along the way - she had snacks and candy out for us, EVERYTHING you could possibly need in the house -it felt like a home and not a rental. The house has plenty of room for everyone and was even more beautiful than the photos. Highly recommend this house - we would love to rent again!

Great Location

The house was in the perfect location for my family. Tina was very quick to respond and extremely helpful. It’s nice to have this option of a place to stay when visiting family.

Perfect space and amazing host

The house was perfect for us as we were there for a celebration of life. Plenty of comfortable space and areas to congregate as a family. Our host was amazing, flexible and a great communicator. The house was clean and had all the amenities that we could ask for! Best experience ever!

space was great and welcome packet addressed every concern. extra bedding as well as beds to accommodate unexpected children that came. great communication with Tina!!

Virginia Graduation Celebration

The property was very pretty, clean and spacious. We celebrated our grandson's graduation with family. However, in the middle of our brunch celebration, I received an urgent message to contact the host, which I did. And to my surprise she asked if we were leaving early because she received information that we were leaving and that my grandchildren would be having a party when we left. I was very upset because I had texted her that it would be a small gathering, mainly grandparents, parents, siblings, aunts and uncles, which it was. There was a total of 15 people, mainly adults. I don't understand why she would think that we were going to leave teenagers alone in her home and I found that very concerning because we are responsible adults and would never do such a thing. Needless to say, our gathering was over by 6:09 pm. Other than that, the experience was nice up until that point. My grandchildren were not staying at the property. They are very well mannered and respectful of other people's property. Also, the house is located near a very busy street and that was not mentioned on the listing, and it was very noisy.

I love to travel and fell in love with hosting so much that I ditched my 30+ year career to do it full time and manage other's properties. I am dedicated to making your stay with us as enjoyable as possible. My home is beautiful and comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood. My neighbors are open to your stay as long as you do not disrupt the peaceful tranquility of their own homes; you might even meet a few. We have a great relationship, and they will even notify me of any trouble occurring at the home, they did help set the rules. My previous career was in the veterinary field. Even though I love pets, I don't allow them to stay for a number of different reasons; most notably, I try and stay sensitive to other guests' allergies to pets. When I have allowed pets in the past, I have ALWAYS been disappointed, so I don't entertain it any longer; I am sorry.

Why they chose this property

My home is welcoming, comfortable, and beautiful. Enjoy a glass of wine on the patio, screened porch, or around the kitchen island. It is a great place to gather, the kitchen island that is, and fill it with food, great conversation, and laughter. Blue-tooth your favorite music through the living room tv and use the sound bar for added sound. Add some wood to the firepit and cushions to the chairs and enjoy sitting around the fire, don't forget to turn on the overhead lights. Enjoy grilling on the outdoor kitchen/grill. The beds are comfortable, the sheets are soft and cozy. Hanging around on Saturday or Sunday, enjoy a game on the screened-in porch which will be made cozy with window inserts and a heater during the winter. This well-appointed house is a great home away from home.
