Christian and Taylor are great hosts and very responsive to messages, questions and needs. Their home is very spacious but cozy and warm. Everything you'll need is provided, and the location is convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, and snow skiing, but still provided plenty of privacy!
We loved this place we rented it twice. Our son is a minister in boone and we come up there a few times a year to hear him preach. This house was awesome...we will rent again
We enjoyed our stay and loved the view. We found the owners to be very responsive and the digital door lock made check-in easy! This property is close to lots of hikes and fun things to do. The weather was perfect and we are glad we had 4WD to get up the driveway.
We truly enjoyed our stay, check in was easy, the view was spectacular, and we especially loved relaxing by the outdoor firepit and on the sectional sofa. It made for a wonderful and memorable weekend!
Loved this house! Lots of room, beautiful views, the kids loved the downstairs. The master bath tub was amazing and the bed was the most comfortable I have slept in! We will definitely be back. The host was also very quick to respond!
The home was well appointed, it was clean, it had a great deck and outdoor fireplace. It was very easy to communicate with the hosts, the neighbors were wonderful and they accommodate pets! The proximity to otter falls was also excellent. We will definitely be back.

Cleanliness and upgrading the house are needed improvements. The house is aged and in need of repairs and renovations. The property is beautiful and space is large. Hosts very responsive.
We loved the location and property! The cabin had all the amenities or two families with small children, twin beds in the two main bedrooms was a great highlight. Owener was extremely easy to communicate with and location to Hawk's Next is IDEAL.
Location was great! The house desperately needs a few things. There were screens missing from doors which made it difficult to get airflow as there is no central a/c, couldnt leave doors open without letting mosquitoes and flies in. The washer doesnt spin the water out (even after 2 spin cycles), and the dryer took almost 3 hours to dry 1 load. The place overall was beautiful! But does need a good top to bottom cleaning (walls/doors in bathrooms and by kitchen trash were dirty). Kitchen cabinet hardware on several drawers/doors broken. Livingroom rug with mult stains. The location was perfect! The owners were upfront about the STEEP driveway (thank you for that!). The water was dangerously hot! May want to consider some box fans during hot summer visits as the bedroom window units are not enough to cool down such a big space and cant keep doors open without screens. Overall, the price was reasonable for the accommodations.
Great place for a big family or family and friends. Kids had a blast with multi stories and place was well stocked in the kitchen. Would return, we love being in NC! View is beautiful, don’t kiss the early sunrise it’s incredible!
Went to Seven devils for an overnight girls trip and had a lovely time! This house has plenty of room, no one was cramped and decor was very cozy. The view from the house is beautiful; highly recommend having a hot coffee or tea while enjoying the view on the deck. Owners are very nice, informative and communicate quickly.
We had a wonderful time during our stay. The hosts were hands down amazing. They let us get in early when my son got car sick, responded quickly to every message I sent and made sure our stay was great. The house is walking distance to tubing which was amazing when we got 4-5 inches of snow and ice so we didn’t even have to move our cars. House was cozy and comfy. We had a wonderful time. .

We loved the property inside but there was no toilet paper and the pans are rusted and old, a blender would be great. Outside needs some cleaning around the property.

We love this neighborhood at the top of seven devils - it has great views of grandfather mountain and is quiet and peaceful. We love all the wildlife we see in this neighborhood and have stayed in several homes now. My biggest issue with this house was that the photos did not reflect reality on the flooring situation - we have a niche problem in that we have a senior dog who does not walk well on hardwood floors and we specifically chose this house because it was carpeted main floor but upon arrival the floors in the main living area are all wood which made our time there more difficult. Otherwise the home was fine and just had minor issues that I will bring to the owners attention privately.
Property overall was well kept and nice inside enough for family get together and kids TV shows were available. Ample kitchen supplies for coffee, sodas, plates and bowls, etc. Not owners fault but it rained when we got there and Friday at Tweetsie Railroad. It stopped long enough to enjoy the rides and train ride. Please note it up a a moutain rode that due to weather was slick and of course at night was not well lighted.Very nice place, receptive owner, if questions were asked. Not really a bad time.
