Great cottage on a beautiful, quiet lake! We took advantage of the canoe and paddled over to the Blue Canoe for dinner. Close to hiking trails and Colgate. Would stay again.
Loved our stay at Priest Cottage. Very impressed with how well appointed it was - lots of towels, dishes, nightlights and 3 bathroom sinks. The location, right on the water, is lovely- we sat outside and had coffee and breakfast. Communication with tge owner was easy, and they were very responsive.
A great property and even a better host. Jonathan was great! More than willing to answer any of our questions as we got acclimated to the property. Honestly, my wife, and I cannot say enough, good things about our stay. Will definitely come back again when in the area. Our only regret was that it was not long enough. John W.
Perfect location on a quiet end of the lake, private and secluded. Cabin was well stocked with necessities and was very comfortable. Looking forward to coming back again.
Comfortable, older cabin in very private area, right on the lake with easy access for swimming or launching the kayaks which were made available. Lake views from 2 sides with nice breezes coming through. Had a very enjoyable 2 week stay.
Spectacular Lakeside Cottage: Where Tranquility Meets Timeless Charm.
We had an amazing stay at this lakeside cottage near Colgate University. The views were absolutely spectacular, with serene lake scenes that made the experience so relaxing. The service was impeccable—every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making us feel right at home. This place truly captures the essence of quintessential lake living, and we can’t wait to return!
My stay at Priest Cottage was perfect. Jonathan was helpful from start to finish and readily available from the time I inquired about renting until I checked out. The quiet, peaceful location and well-maintained cottage were just right for a weekend getaway. I hope to return again in the future.
Lovely quiet cottage on the lake, equipped and stocked with everything we needed during our pre Boilermaker race stay. Communication with Jonathan was excellent; checkin and checkout were a breeze. Lovely lake community, and the cottage is located on a private drive. We will definitely look to stay again.
Very much a lake cottage.... quiet relaxing and peaceful. Extremely well equipped. Actually even had a junk draw...haha.You have to try the blue canoe for lunch or dinner. Excellent and close by. very glad we chose this cottage for our short get away
My family was looking forward to some downtime together. This was the place to do just that. It rained a lot during our visit; which gave us time to read, bike, used the kayak, canoe, and fished between the shower bursts. The host was responsive. Thank you Jonathon for hosting my family!!!
Our family of three just spent a wonderful week at Priest Cottage. Having grown up on Tuscarora Lake and still having family there, we opted to indulge in a little more space for our 4th of July vacation. We were not disappointed! The host is extremely communicative and the house has everything you’ll need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We made all of our meals in the spacious kitchen, canoed sometimes 3x per day and simply relaxed by the water. We did not want to leave….but will certainly return.

Thank you, Kristine and Family! It was our pleasure hosting you. Thanks for taking great care of the cottage. Hope to see you again next year!
This little cabin and the surrounding property were everything we could have hoped for. It probably helped that the weather was perfect and the open windows and fans were enough to keep us cool - people may want to think about that if booking in the deep summer days - but we truly have no complaints. We didn’t need much but I have no doubt that if we did, Jonathan would have been there to help. Check-in/check-out was a breeze.
There were books, games, a Keurig/coffee, fishing rods, a canoe/kayaks, life jackets, a very nice grill outside and gas stovetop inside - everything you could need for your stay even down to the soap.
The waterfront was beautiful, just a few steps away, and the dock was perfect for morning cold plunges - we even canoed over to the Blue Canoe for food and drinks a couple of times (highly recommend it as well).
If we ever had a reason to go back to the area (we’re from Arkansas and were actually just up there for a wedding), we would absolutely stay here again.

Thank you so much, Erin! Glad you had such an enjoyable time. Taking the canoe to the Bar & Grille is one of the more unique things we offer, yet, not enough guests take advantage of it; so happy that you did :) Take care! Hope to hear from you again in the future!
Johnathan was excellent to work with!
Great communication and all things were perfect in the cottage! The pictures were accurate and very welcoming. We definitely will return!
A roomy, beautifully furnished cottage, just feet from the water. Lots of windows to let in the breeze off Tuscarora Lake, and large fans for the warm days. Modern, updated kitchen. Great furniture in the living room, and lots of chairs for the deck. Wonderful Blue Canoe waterfront restaurant a few minutes by car or boat.
The property is at the end of a private road and while the other houses are close, it is quiet and peaceful. The house looks small from the outside and the bedrooms are small, but the living room, dining room and kitchen are generous and the bathroom is very spacious. Everything is there that you could want from a Keurig coffee maker to a comfy window seat to an electric outlet everywhere you look.
We had a nice kayak every morning (we brought our own but there are some there) and a long hike at some of the nearby parks every afternoon. Dinner and watching the sunset from the porch at night. It was just lovely.
This is a great little place for some R&R. The window seat was perfect to listen to the water and read a book. My family enjoyed the escape. Our host was great and provided us with all the details we needed to have a lovely stay. I would recommend if you need a nice relaxing getaway.
We booked this late as our annual lake house was unavailable. We were not disappointed! It is beautiful inside and out. It's right on the water and the views are fantastic. Jonathon is a great host. He responds quickly and everything you need is there. The fishing is excellent as well. The lake is crystal clear. We only wish it were hot enough to get in the water. It was so nice and peaceful. We will be going back!

Beautiful lake so close…. It feels like you are in a houseboat
We were looking for a quiet get-away after a busy spring semester and we found it! The cottage was immaculate and very well appointed. Anything you wanted or needed was provided. We felt like we were home - only better! The place is small but that’s what a cottage is all about! The lake is beautiful ~ pristine and just the right number of water fowl. We even saw a bald eagle catch a fish. Our favorite spot was the long window seat overlooking the lake - it almost felt like being in a house boat (without the motion). We would go back!
