## Emplacement
-- Vieux-Nice
The old town of Nice is the oldest part of the city and a hotspot of the famous Carnival . Living in the old Nice is living in the heart of the city history. The red of its facades, the white window frames, the arcades and the square shape of its northern part are the sign of the Piedmontese influence in the architecture of this place.
In the morning, the market on the Cours Saleya enlivens the town.
The old town of Nice covers a large number of historical sites and squares that should not be missed!
Place Masséna, with its recent improvements, has certainly become one of the most beautiful contemporary public squares. Place Garibaldi is also a real jewel of Nice's architecture.
-- Quartier du port
Between tradition and renewal, it is a district known for its antique dealers, the softness of the walks along the port and the boat departures for Corsica. It is overhung to the west by the hill of the castle of Nice, a huge park where residents and tourists flock to admire the Bay of Angels. There are many restaurant terraces in this area and the port of Nice has kept its authentic charm by becoming a trendy area. For the nightlife, the port of Nice is lively all year and night owls enjoy strolling between the port and the Place du Pin.
-- Riquier
The Riquier district shines by its geographical situation. Located in the south-eastern part of the city, in the north of the port district, upstream of the Paillon with the river that passes through the city. Close to all amenities and to the port, this area, shaded by the carob trees allows many shops to be established on its territory. Local shops, restaurants, cafés with welcoming terraces, the streets of Riquier are very lively. Hotels, exhibition halls and specialist shops complete the very impressive offer of the district.
All of which will appeal to a very varied population that loves this urban lifestyle.
