Small but Confortable

Small apartment, but confortable some time Hot no air conditioning/ WIFI deficient imposible to use with video chat. Signal so wick the connexion in intermittent. Swimming pool was close during the time we were there ( May17 to June 15. ) No body inform us about that.

Very Poor Performance!

Our winter stay in this apartment was dismal. We gave the owner the benefit of the doubt after an initial disagreement about price increases without notice to us, followed by a lengthy discussion to reduce those costs. The apartment is very small and situated on the dark side of the building so no benefit from the lovely Torrox winter sunshine until very late in the afternoon. Our biggest problem as older sunbirds, was the cold coming up through the tile floors. Heating is by 2000 watt heaters. We paid €150 electricity deposit which could be enough or not, since we did not get an opening nor closing reading despite asking. There is an infestation of silverfish, coming up through the shower plug. By the time I noticed this some of my clothing already had holes eaten in them! The lift gave some problems and the bottom door lock broke. The swimming pool was filled with green water. A very small shower offers two very short showers before running cold. The shower head is fitted loosely at about 1.7m height. You have to stoop to get under it. There is a two bar electric heater in the bathroom but no extraction so it’s damp. The toilet flush button is dicky and drainage in the apartment slow which might have had something to do with the construction on the floors above us. The stove top in the kitchen is old and worn. Dials virtually illegible and some broken. The extractor kept dropping screws. An elderly microwave has a mismatched, rattling plate that trips the lights when the stove is in use. No oven. Cheap plastic kettle. We could not get the ancient washing machine to work. Someone came by, not an engineer, and said the machine is problematic. Drying your wet towels and underwear will be on a 2m string in front of the picture window blocking the light. There is a half ironing board but no iron. The bedroom is very small and you have to turn sideways to get down the side of the bed. The bed is nice but the bedding and covers are mismatched. Double bed but single summer weight duvets for the winter? The linens and pillows need refreshing. The room is dark and cold. The owner simply denies the apartment lacks the basics comforts and dug his heels in when we complained. Nothing was done during our stay to make us more comfortable and we had to spend our carefully budgeted holiday money to make his apartment more comfortable to live in. Laundry costs put a big dent in our cash. We asked for a refund early on but we were denied.

Wetter war klasse, alles gut gelaufen, Vermieter immer erreichbar bei Fragen. Einkaufen, essen gehen und Strand sind alle zu Fuß zu erreichbar. Sehr zu empfehlen

Vacaciones cerquita de la playa

Vacaciones de 6 días en Torrox. El piso cerquita de la playa, buenas vistas ya que es un sexto, además tiene piscina. No la hemos utilizado porque hemos preferido la playa. Muy cerca de chiringuitos donde además hemos comido muy bien. La dueña de la casa muy agradable en contacto con nosotros en todo momento, ha sido muy buena anfitriona, mil gracias.!!

Tolle Wohnung - nahe zum Strand

Die Wohnung hat alles, was man braucht, um sich wohlzufühlen. Sie hat eine angenehme Größe, auch für 2 Personen. Das Haus und die gesamte Anlage mit Pool und Tennisplätzen ist gepflegt, der schnelle Zugang zum Strand perfekt. Supermärkte, Cafes und Läden sind fussläufig, also auch ohne Auto, gut erreichbar. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Diese Wohnung liegt am Ende der Promenade. Somit ist es etwas ruhiger und der Strandbereich etwas schöner mit Palmen und netten Lokalen im Sand.

Klein aber fein

Die Wohnung ist ausreichend für zwei Personen, sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Küche: Geschirr und Kochutensilien ausreichend für 4-6 Personen, Mikrowelle, Herd, Kaffeemaschine - alles funktioniert. TV gut beschrieben, viele deutsche Sender. Kriegt von Nachbarn nichts mit, auch Umgebung ruhig. Herrlicher Strand in 2 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.

En general no ha estado mal, solo algún que otro fallo, para empezar las toallas del baño eran de tamaño lavabo y solo dos porque según la señora que nos recibió los anteriores personas habían gastado muchas toallas y no le había dado tiempo a lavarlas , si llegas un día de fiesta como en mi caso ni un simple rollo de papel en el cuarto de baño y varios detalles que creo que como mínimo debe de haber para facilitar a las personas que llegan hasta poder organizarse. En general el piso esta bien para dos personas recogidito y cómodo, no tiene aire acondicionado , ni aparcamiento como anuncia , el aparcamiento es en la calle y si encuentras , el wifi nada de nada , en fin el piso bien lo demás mejorable
