Loblolly Cottage is a peaceful retreat set among towering pines on our
property in Germantown NY. This guest suite harkens back to an authentic 1930s Adirondack cabin that features a reclaimed barn wood interior with vaulted ceilings and antique beams. Outside enjoy our fantastic deck with a Cabana kitchen and fire pit. A short stroll will lead you to the heart of the hamlet where you will find an array of shops and restaurants. Loblolly Cottage is a unique one-of-a-kind vacation experience.

Germantown offers walkable sidewalks that lead to the heart of the hamlet where you'll find Gaskins, our 5-star restaurant, the famous Otto's Market, as well as a floral shop, a liquor store, retail shops and laundry facilities. Throughout the year, Germantown hosts many events such as the Town-wide Yard Sale, a spectacular 4th of July fireworks display, a wildly popular Halloween Trick or Treat night, and the Holiday Stroll in early December.

This very cozy place offers a one of a kind vacation experience set in the Catskill region of the Upper Hudson Valley. We are close to many popular destinations. Hudson is just 7 miles north, Rhinebeck is 10 miles to the South and the Catskill Mountain ski areas, hiking trails and waterfalls are just over the river and to the east.

From April to November our fabulous Cottage Deck set under towering pine trees is open. There you can lounge on a chaise, read a book in an Adirondack chair or take a nap in a hammock. In the outdoor Cabana Kitchen you can cook a fabulous meal or set up for happy hour. And in the evening build a fire in the fire pit and toast marshmallows under the stars.
