The Creek House is a retro-rustic getaway with luxury lodge touches and plush amenities (including free wifi and Roku TV) – all in an ultra-private creekside setting. This peaceful, fully equipped house features design with a mountain cabin feel that takes you back to a simpler time. Plus, you’re close to all the MANY attractions the area has to offer. In fall and winter, enjoy the sounds of a warm, crackling fire and the creek rushing outside your window, and toast friends and family in style, comfort and serenity. In spring and summer, fish from your wooden bridge, have dinner on the back rock patio and sit in the cedar hot tub. It's creekside and under the stars! (We are now trying to keep the CEDAR HOT TUB operational ALL-YEAR ROUND -- although we cannot never 100% guarantee it's use. It's new but can be temperamental.)

The cabin was super cozy and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We absolutely loved the atmosphere in and outside of the cabin. It was the perfect getaway for our 3rd Anniversay. We were lucky to get some snowfall so the scenery was beyond beautiful. We would absolutely love to visit this cabin again in the spring/summer to experience it during the warmer weather as well.

Excellent cabin in a beautiful setting. Had everything in the listing and is really cared for by the owner. Particularly enjoyed the comfortable cozy sleeping alcove. Views of the creek are awesome from inside. The hikes on property are also a treat.

This cabin was something of dreams. From the indoor fireplace to the wood hot tub in the back I couldn’t have found a better winter get away. We plan on going back for a summer retreat since there is a creek right outside with a trail across the bridge that leads to your very own pond with canoe. We loved Big Al’s! Five stars!

Felt like we were back in time (with modern amenities of course) and enjoyed relaxing and living simple for our stay. Firepit, hot tub, stream, pond..Fishing, tubing and watching the wildlife. Big Al’s is the best!

We could not have asked for a better stay. This property surpassed our expectations and was heaven on earth. I think what I will remember is the song of the creek and quiet noise of those beautiful trees. We will be booking for our next year’s stay.

This property is in the most perfect location! It sits right along the creek. I really enjoyed sitting outside during the rainstorms, it was so peaceful! The kids loved the pond and caught a bunch of fish. It was so nice to be able to just relax and get away from it all.

A wonderful weekend away in this cabin retreat. The creek ran high due to recent rainfall but made for peaceful sounds from rushing waters. Clean and comfortable.

Why they chose this property

I fell in love with the Creek House the MOMENT I saw it. We have had our ups and downs together over the years, but I am still often mesmerized by its magic. :) With the twelve acres across the bridge, it's like living in my own little national park.

What makes this property unique

One of the things I love about this place is its location. There is a not-well-traveled road that runs in front of it, but there are no visible neighbors which means LOTS of privacy!
