Serene Cabin in the Woods
The cabin has everything you could need or want for a vacation. It is off to itself and peaceful, yet close to shopping and restaurants. Check-in and out went smoothly. The front porch is wonderful! I highly recommend a stay here and look forward to going back next year!
Wife says i had a good time... and i agree with her. The new owners are showing a commitment to making it even better than before. Highly recommended.

Great place for a scenic proposal💍❤️
I rented Red Oak cabin for a 2 night stay hoping to propose to my partner on our one year anniversary. We're the type of people that we can make any setting work, but Spring River cabins made it very easy to have a great time.
The scenery is beautiful, and the cabin is recessed into the woods with a private fire pit and porch with blinds and chairs.
We must have gone during an off weekend, because we had the whole place to ourselves, and had our pick of the covered swing overlooking the trees and the water, a quiet wooden bench along the trail, and the bench swing along the water.
It was very private, very peaceful, and we had a great time sitting in nature and visiting the spring-fed creek 13 minutes down the road. I would recommend to anyone looking for a weekend getaway!
We very much enjoyed our time at this cute little cabin! From check-in to check-out, and everything in between, it was a great weekend! We would definitely stay again!
Modern amenities and comfort hiding in a cabin in the woods! Loved the sound of wildlife across the river while while sipping wine by the fire pit. Great for a weekend getaway, or if enjoying nearby Grand Lake.

About the host
Hosted by Vicki
Originally built and owned by Tim and Carolyn Godfrey, Godfrey's Rustic Cabins has been a quiet hidden gem along the Spring River for several years. After Tim passed away in 2019, Carolyn operated the cabins until she found just the right people to keep up their legacy. We are honored to continue the cabins that Tim and Carolyn so lovingly built.
Why they chose this property
So much better than a hotel, house your entire family or your fishing group in one location. Need more space? This property has 3 other units on it, so you can expand if your group is larger.
What makes this property unique
Fish from the bank or launch your boat a few miles away and fish up and down Spring River. We have a full kitchen to handle a house full of guests. Large coffee pot for early morning fishing. Plenty of space to hang out when not fishing. Kids have a fun playground to spend hours on while Dad (or mom) is out fishing.
