Fenced Yard with 2 Teak Dining Sets, 2 Gas Grills, outdoor shower. 209 Howard St. has central air and hi-speed wifi and the best location in all of Cape May. You can watch the horses and carriages go by or live music at The Chalfonte Thursday nights from the front porch with ceiling fans and romantic string lights. Off street parking for 5 cars. Beach chairs, umbrellas & beach carts for use during rental. 10 LCD TV's w/DVD Player (& 500+ DVD Movies including all kids' favorites) & cable and Roku Player. Dog bowls, toys, crate & dedicated dog bed and chair, too! 7-night minimum Memorial Day to Labor Day. 2 Washers/dryers, 2 Dishwashers, too. This house has it all and is impeccably maintained by owner Ann. No Proms or 'Under 21' unless a few adult chaperones present.

We loved the fact that the dogs were allowed to be with us. There was plenty of supplies for our stay and the kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, cups and glasses. Beds were very comfortable. However all the rooms had a lot of clutter all over every room.

Wonderful family time!

Perfect location and home for a multi-generational family reunion/get together! We ranged in age from 14 to 73 and everyone was comfortable and the location was perfect - close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. The owner answered all our questions both before and during our stay. House is well stocked with all the basics. We would definitely stay here again. There is even music right next door on some evenings that one can enjoy from the lovely porch (a place that we spent much of our time watching the world go by and enjoying the breeze).

Perfect location for family getaway

Large and cute house a short walk away from the beach. The porch is perfect for hangout. We had a lot of fun! Ann is very responsive to our needs and quick in communication. We really appreciate her hospitality.

Simply the best year after year!

And gets better too. The location is perfect and the new 2nd floor extra kitchen is great. Plus, new all season wicker furniture enough to seat everyone and a glider on the porch. Every channel one could want on Roku and cable, too, makes this a plus!

Perfect house for wedding accommodations!

This house was amazing for accommodations for our entire bridal party for our wedding! The house was clean, had absolutely everything we needed (minus sheets that the owner explicitly will remind you to rent or bring) and had more than enough room for all of us. The second kitchen on the second floor of the house was very useful! We thought that it would be a problem to have 16 people in the house and only 3 showers but it was not a problem at all. The location of the house is prime and walkable to anywhere we wanted to go in the city of Cape May. This house was really fantastic and the owner (Ann) was so helpful and amazing every step of the way. Our weddIng was at the Southern Mansion, only 5 short blocks away.

So many wonderful family times here.

This is the perfect spot for your Cape May beach holiday. Responsive, helpful owner; large, beautiful historic home with a well-equipped PAIR of kitchens--perfect for feeding hungry crowds after Happy Hour out on the splendid front porch.The super location means you can park your car(s) on the large side yard and walk everywhere. Our extended--and growing--family has spent many happy summer vacations here, and we look forward to more fun times at "The Big House".

WONDERFUL INCREDIBLE PERFECT

My brothers, sisters, spouses and children surprised our Mother for her 80th birthday by all heading to Cape May and staying together at Queen Ann's. It was perfect! The house was perfect! The location superb. There were 17 adults (over 18 yrs old), 14 children and 2 dogs. This house fit everyone so comfortable. From sitting on the porch, eating in the dining room to heading to bed for the night. It was perfect. Some brought bikes from PA, while others rented them from a place right down the street. We never had to get in our car. Everything walking distance - beach, mall, restaurants etc. The owners were a pleasure to work with.......we hope to be back soon if not for sure for her 85th!

80th birthday surprise!

We stayed at Queen Ann's. It was wonderful. My entire family was there for the week-end. There were 31 of us and we were all extremely comfortable. We had 15 adults, 16 grandchildren and a pets. It was a surprise for my 80th birthday. Could not have been better. Plenty of room for everyone. So many things for all ages. Would be delighted to go back again!

Family and fun!

This house was clean and very well appointed. The location was perfect - a short stroll or bike ride and you were there. The owners have graciously thought of everything you might need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. This is a must rent for large or multiple families looking to make memories at the beach.

A Perfect Summertime Destination

This wonderful property, Queen Ann, is perfectly located and equipped for Cape May summer fun. With a large front porch, side deck and two yards, there is plenty of room for folks to find a spot to relax away from the crowd; and with two spacious living rooms, there's never a fight over which TV station or movie to watch. The kitchen is large and well-appointed; there's even a second kitchen upstairs! The dining room, with its three tables, has been the site of many large and memorable family dinners over the nearly ten years we have been renting. Ann the owner is very helpful and responsive; she has maintained and improved the property to a very high standard without making it uncomfortable to be here with little kids and dogs. With air conditioning throughout, convenient laundry facilities in the kitchen, and baby equipment available, this is such a fabulous place to create family memories!

Wonderful memories

We have recently completed our eighth stay at Queen Ann's and have already signed up for next year. The house is well-equipped and maintained, the location cannot be beat, and the wonderful porches and yards seem to expand to accommodate our ever-increasing universe of family and friends. Best of all is the comfortable, welcoming feeling evident throughout. We have rented properties all over the world, but each time we come to Queen Ann's it's like we're coming home. From the fully-equipped kitchen to the comfy beds to the climate-controlled interior and the responsive owner management, every vacation requirement is covered. Just the perfect Cape May experience!

Great weekend in Cape May

We celebrated my parents 60 th Wedding anniversary at Queen Ann's. Plenty of room for 24 children and grandchildren. House was well maintained and clean. Everything we needed was there. Ages ranged from 79 down to 9 plenty for everyone to do. Parked our cars and walked everywhere.

great family vacation home!

The Queen Ann was the perfect rental for our large family when our youngest daughter got married in Cape May. Ann made the rental process so easy I had no questions…she is very organized and helpful…she anticipates your every need. The house is very comfortable and well equipped for any group. It is also convenient to everywhere in Cape May. A wonderful experience and a wonderful property!

It doesn't get better than this in Cape May!

The pictures don't even begin to do this house justice...it is so grand and with every amenity, I couldn't ask for more. It had wi-fi for me (so I could work), several LCD TV's (with great cable stations) to keep everyone happy, it even had a Playstation for the kids. And, the fact they allow dogs (and it was so clean you didn't notice they rent to people with dogs) made it a great family vacation for all. I just can't say enough about the location. Once we parked (and there was parking at the house for our 5 cars) we walked everywhere. The beach is right down the street and the town is also just a few blocks away. We spent a lot of our time grilling in the backyard and enjoying drinks on the awning covered front porch watching the horses and carriages and people go by. And, when it was time for a nap I hit the padded hammock in the yard. I've got to say that the fact the yard was fenced and I have a young special needs child made it an even more enjoyable vacation. And the fact my mom and mother in law could stay in first floor bedrooms with a step in shower stall (they're elderly) made it perfect for all ages. As I said in the beginning, "It doesn't get better than this in Cape May!" Go big (and this house is HUGE) or go home (you'll never want to!)

Beautiful Victorian Cape May House (and Porch!)

On the front porch of this exquisite Victorian home, you can do what you want! You can rock, sit or lay down and bask in the comfort of historical elegance. You can pour your favorite beverage, coffee, tea, and just relax. You can be surrounded by friends and family on a group vacation. To me, this porch can be my own center of the Universe offering hours filled with passive recreation. Watching the scene and the people, the hours and the days pass by. Sounds of clip-clopping horse drawn carriages, people strolling by, and an occassional "ring-ring" of bicycle bells are the background. This "Queen Ann" house was walking distance to everything, including shops, dining, and entertainment. This house had all the comforts of home, including two kitchens, seemingly countless bedrooms and LCD TVs! It was exceptional to have private parking on-site. The architectural detail and colors of this home made for a delightful backdrop of our daily vacation life and gatherings. We cannot wait to go back and do it again!

The best beach house in the best location in town!

This house is located only 3 blocks to the beach & 3 blocks to town. Once you park your car (parking included on site) you can walk everywhere easily. We loved watching the horses & carriages go right by the house which is located right across from the historic Chalfonte. A great big house with everything you'll ever need and want-- a/c, cable, wi-fi, playstation for the kids-- everything! Have the greatest time ever every time we go!

I put in the work and schedule yearly projects to keep the house modern and well maintained because I love 209 Howard and Cape May more than anywhere in the world. I find it a perfect & peaceful place for myself, my 2 sons Alex & Nick, and dogs, Umi & Bella. When in NYC, Ann works in residential real estate and owns and operates the first dog walking service in Tribeca the last 30 years.
