Such a beautiful home and fun property. So much space for a large group. Having so many full bathrooms was great. The kitchen is spacious. The family room has a great view. The lake property and dock is very nice. Our whole group (14 of us) said we would go back.
Beautiful property. Spacious accommodations. Easy communications with owner. Plenty of kayaks and paddle boards available for use. Kids had a great time fishing off the dock, caught allot of red eyed rock bass. Very peaceful setting. Great vacation spot.
The property is absolutely wonderful. We had a great time
fishing, playing pool, and just relaxing. The home is beautiful, plenty of room for everyone.
House and property were perfect for our family. Plenty of room for everyone. Noisy little kids up at 6 AM had a playroom downstairs away from the bedrooms!
Great weekend for a nearby family wedding.
This house is large but still so warm and welcoming. Very well maintained. Lots of rooms to sit in and reflect. The stream alongside the home was a favorite. The views were all beautiful. The outdoor area was perfect for enjoying nice weather. Wonderful stay.
We had beautiful weather once again this year for our 4 day stay at the Lake House. Friends kayake
Large, clean and comfortable. Never left the property for anything, great get away. Would like to be open more of the windows especially in the bedrooms.
Loved this beautiful home located on Owasco Lake..it was so perfect for our annual family getaway..so many awesome memories were made visiting by the fire pit and by the lake..we all enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks that were provided..the kitchen is beautifully updated and well equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals..the billiards room is awesome..my husband’s favorite room..the bedrooms were beautiful and the beds very comfortable..The owner was always available to answer any questions or requests we had and was amazing to deal with.. Skaneatles is only a 20 minute drive and is a beautiful little town with great restaurants..I can’t say enough good about this home..I would definitely stay here again.
This home is amazing. It is located on Owasco lake and had the most stunning views. The sunsets were awesome. The bedrooms are spacious, and it had a big open kitchen, that was well stocked with plates, silverware, cups and many different types of glassware. The owner was extremely responsive and very easy to deal with. My family traveled from all over the country to attend a wedding in Auburn, which is a great town that had a selection of grocery stores, hair salons and any other service you may need. I would highly recommend this home and would stay again.
My family (particularly my father) can be hard to please and this house was awesome!!! We had 14 people in our party at one point and everyone had plenty of space. There was so much to do from billiards, kayaking, fishing, enjoying the scenery by the fire pit, and/or staying indoors and warching TV. Everything was immaculate and neighborhood was so quaint and peaceful. Debbie was very responsive to questions and the communication overall was superb. Everyone had a great 4 day weekend. We would definitely return.
We stayed at this location before and after Rick's renovation. He did a remarkable job. The outside is pure historic lakeside and the inside is perfectly modernized while keeping several beautiful stone walls and slate floors intact. Central air conditioning throughout, working gas fireplaces, a pool room, linens, modern kitchen with all essentials provided. The outside has everything you need- kayaks, stand up paddle boards, room for badminton, a dock, lounge chairs, outdoor grill, and a fire pit. Plan on getting all food needs from Wegmans, 25 minutes away in Auburn. For the hikers, check out Carpenter Falls about 15 minutes away by car. Quaint shopping and dining available in Skaneateles, 30 minutes away. Rick is available by text throughout the stay and responds immediately to any needs/concerns. A great property and a great host.
House was great! There were 9 of us and we were able to spread out as there was 6 bedrooms. Some facing the lake. House was very clean and very well stocked. We loved kayaking everyday right off the property. Awesome weekend!
The property was amazing. Clean, beautiful with many places where we could come together yet places we could find privacy to be by ourselves. The creek that bordered the property created wonderful sounds to fall to sleep to. Absolutely beautiful place.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house is gorgeous and exactly as described. There was such much room to relax and unwind. Would absolutely stay here again!
What an amazing home. It met all of our expectations and more. We will be back !
We rented this home for a weekend Friendsgiving. It was perfect. The home is huge yet still warm and inviting. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed the Billiards room. The pictures don’t do it justice.
We had a fabulous stay. Loved the kitchen and dining area. The living room with windows to the lake was awesome each morning at sunrise. The billiard room was a huge hit. Would love to stay again in the summer.
Due to the pandemic, we were unable to celebrate my 80th birthday last year as a family. However, we celebrated Thanksgiving along with my 81st birthday at the Adams House this year. The rooms were lovely, beautifully decorated, and very spacious. My two daughter-in-laws and a son enjoyed preparing fantastic meals in the large kitchen. The area outdoors was very quiet and peaceful. We all enjoyed ourselves immensely!!! Thank you!!!
Sam Adams house is an amazing place. The house is spacious and just as described. The lake front area is nice. The weather didn’t give us much opportunity to enjoy outside, but when the weather cleared, the night sky was absolutely amazing! The place is peaceful and quiet. We hope to stay there again in the future.
The home was beautiful and made for a terrific stay. Only issue we had was a little too far from the winery tours we were interested in but we made it work.
