The Cottage was as advertised, very clean and nicely upgraded. The Hot Tub and beach access makes it a perfect getaway. The Host was very responsive and attentive, making sure we were satisfied with our stay.There were little things she does to make the stay special! Such as s'more kit, spices for cooking ect. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property , it was a pleasure to have stayed !!!!

Denise and Keith are great hosts! They were very easy to communicate with, responded fast, and gave clear instructions for check in and check out.We loved our stay at the Funk Frog cabin! Close to the lake, clean, cute cozy cabin vibes. Amenities were provided and we enjoyed being able to bring our dog with us. Would recommend this place & stay here again.

Clean, air conditioned cabin with well stocked kitchen, smart TV with lots of active subscriptions, washer and dryer, fenced in yard (perfect for dogs), yard games, grill, fire pit with logs, and hot tub. Host was friendly, helpful, and very quick to respond to questions. Very close to Sam-O-Set beach and playground. Would absolutely stay again! Thank you!

House was comfy , cozy and clean. Denise puts forth extra effort to ensure all the guests needs are met and even has an emergency backup cabinet in the event you forget a necessity like deodorant or toothpaste. The hot tub was amazing. We will definitely be returning in the future.

One of the nicest cabins we've stayed in. Can tell the owners put a lot of love into the cabin and made sure it was comfortable for kids and pets. Will definitely book it again next time we're in Higgins.

Long weekend on Higgins lake

It was good enough for three nights stay. The property has all essentials. Location is safe, walking distance to the lake.

Our names are Keith and Denise. We are parents to two grown daughters. One is married and has given us two precious grandchildren. We have two dogs and two birds. The Funky Frog cabin is our favorite place to escape when we can do so. As we are still working full time, we cannot escape a lot, but we hope to retire there. We love the area, and the people are so friendly.

Why they chose this property

We happened upon this property and we loved it and its close proximity to the lake and lake access.

What makes this property unique

We loved the openness of the inside of the cabin. The interior is beautiful, and the high ceilings give the room an air of spaciousness that everyone can enjoy without feeling crowded. We added beauty to the firepit, one of our favorite places on the property, and a fence for the safety of our dogs and grandchildren. Decorating the cabin was so much fun.
