A large deck overlooks the river, offering peaceful views for morning coffee or evening relaxation, while a fire pit on the riverbank invites you to unwind under the stars. Inside, a beautiful see-through fireplace connects the living and dining areas, creating a warm gathering space year-round.
Located upstream of all canoe liveries for a quieter stretch of water in a small and friendly neighborhood within walking distance from the quaint downtown area of Roscommon, this location is perfect.
The home is just four miles from the renowned Mason Tract (flies-only water) making it ideal for trout fishing and canoeing enthusiasts. Outdoor adventure continues in every season with a groomed skate & traditional cross country skiing and hiking/snowshoeing trail just 1/8 mile away, a local outdoor ice skating rink, snowmobile trails within a mile, 10 minutes to Higgins Lake, and just 10 minutes from Forest Dunes Golf Club. A 2 car garage is available for your use along with 2 canoes, a variety of skis, and plenty of firewood.

Great family vacation

Our stay was amazing! Mom, Dad, and 3 daughters ages 12, 8, 7. Plenty of room and so many things to explore. We used Campbell's down the road to Kayak. Higgins lake state park is so close we visited there for a day trip. We golfed, and spent the rest of the time on the decks overlooking the gorgeous river.

The home was as described, a bit broken up. The living room was really small, but they used all the extra room in the kitchen/dining room which was huge! A nice, large dining table AND a small 2 person round table by the window. The kids loved the pool table. The adults love the chairs and table on the deck. Good parking available. Bill’s property in Roscommon is perfect for nature lovers! It’s a scenic property overlooking the river. A relaxing retreat! The house has beautiful views overlooking the river and all the wildlife to go with it.

Im a life long resident of Roscommon. I grew up on this river and love all it has to offer. We fish, canoe and swim in the summer and ski in the winter.

What makes this property unique

This house is cool because it is close to town but may as well be a million miles away. There are no canoe liveries upstream so there is no canoe traffic. it is totally peaceful. The trail head for the ski trail is a short walk down the road. The open floor plan with a fireplace in the middle makes for the tops in relaxation.
