Welcome to Chalet L'Edelweiss, a rare, timeless place, where each stay becomes a memory.

As soon as you walk through the door of the chalet, a warm and soothing atmosphere envelops you. Away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, surrounded by open meadows and facing the peaks of the Pyrenees, Chalet L'Edelweiss reveals itself like a precious interlude.

Here, no wifi.
Just nature, silence, changing light on the mountains... and that soothing feeling of finally being able to slow down.

In the morning, open the shutters on the Pyrenees mountain range. The coffee smokes gently while the sun illuminates the pastures around the chalet. On the terrace, a breathtaking panoramic view invites you to prolong the moment, lying on the deckchairs. Later, maybe a walk to the ridges, a nap in the open air, a lunch facing the peaks around the plancha... or simply the pleasure of doing nothing.
Here, we live outside as much as inside.

The living room opens wide onto the mountain, like an invitation to slow down. We sit around the large table to share a meal after a day in the great outdoors, we meet by the wood stove when the light goes down, we extend the evenings with board games, reading or simply enjoying the silence.
A television is available as an extra for cocooning moments if the weather invites you to stay indoors.

The open kitchen, Fully equipped, allows you to cook together in a friendly atmosphere, in this simple and precious spirit of mountain stays.

Upstairs, the chalet reveals its sleeping areas designed to accommodate young and old in a soft and relaxing atmosphere.
The chalet can accommodate up to 9 people and a baby, in a friendly and authentic atmosphere, ideal for getting together with family or friends:

The large dormitory (2 beds in 140, 1 bed in 120 and 1 bed in 90) becomes a real cocoon for young and old, conducive to evening confidences and luminous awakenings facing the peaks.
A second bedroom (1 bed 160 and a bed 90), comfortable and soothing, invites you to deep nights after walks at altitude.

Outside, the magic works to the fullest.

The panoramic terrace facing the Pyrenees naturally becomes the heart of the stay... Breakfast in the sun, naps in the deckchairs, meals shared around the plancha, long discussions on the way back from a hike... Each moment can be savoured in a different way, carried by the beauty of the landscape and the surrounding calm.

Around the chalet, nature is everywhere. On the 12 hectares that surround the Edelweiss, meadows, reliefs, changing light as the hours go by, the peaceful presence of sheep, donkeys, roe deer and horses that sometimes pass around the chalet... Here, each season tells a different storey:

🌸 In spring, the mountain wakes up in an explosion of flowers and light
☀️ In summer, people live outside from morning to night, between hiking, dining on the terrace and sunsets on the ridges. Just a few minutes from Lake Estaing, the chalet is an ideal starting point to explore the Val d'Azun or enjoy long breaks by the water
🍁 Autumn envelops the landscapes in warm colours and incomparable softness
❄️ Winter transforms the chalet into a warm refuge, conducive to evenings by the stove and waking up in immaculate calm.

Ideally located in the heart of the Val d'Azun, Chalet L'Edelweiss is a privileged starting point for discovering Argelès-Gazost, Cauterets, Hautacam, Luz-Ardiden and Couraduque, between mountain villages, panoramic resorts and wide open spaces conducive to escape in all seasons.

Whatever the time of year, L'Edelweiss is an invitation to experience the mountains in a different way... slower, simpler, more intensely.

The chalet is easily accessible: it is located about a hundred metres from the main road, at the end of a small passable path.
The change of scenery begins from the first steps!

🚗 Several vehicles can be easily parked right next to the chalet.
