Wife and I stayed here during my hunt. I knew I was going to have a blast but with the Condos amenities she had a great experience as well. We will definitely be back and not just for hunting season.
My wife and I spent the weekend at this cabin and all I can say is that, if you want the perfect getaway to relax, have some quality family time and enjoy some great views, this is the perfect place. Manager and everybody at the premises were also very nice, which is a plus:)

Such a beautiful property. The condo was very clean and had everything you need. I stayed with my husband, kids and 2 dogs and everyone loved it and can't wait to return. Don was a great host and let us know all the good restaurants and places to check out and even offered a free tour of the town.
Thos wax a beautiful condo. My family totally enjoyed it. On fact they said they could live there. Everyone they talked to from property mgmt to house cleaning lady was very friendly. Will definitely stay here again

thank you for your kind words. Welcome back anytime. Please tell your friends about us
Met all of our needs. Well stocked kitchen with dishes, cookware, etc. Plenty of towels for our family of 4. Bring extra detergent if you plan to do more than one wash. Bed was very comfortable and my kids said the pull out bed was also great. Wifi was reliable. Thanks, Don!
We loved this condo for our long weekend stay. Everything we needed was in the condo and plenty of things to do outside. Great views of sunset and sunrise. My family enjoyed the hot tub, fire pits, corn hole boards, and endless ATV riding right from the Condo. Connie’s deli right down the street had a delicious breakfast! Easy to communicate with owner and clear instructions for check in/out. Highly recommend for a relaxing weekend away!
A little out of the way from the main reason for the trip but, overall, pleasantly surprised at this hidden gem in the mountains. As advertised, very scenic drive to and from Cloudcroft. The only disappointment from the trip was the advertising from Connie’s Cafe (hours posted was not reflective of what we found on Sunday morning, looking for a local breakfast spot (which was advertised); Connie’s Cafe was not open as advertised.
My daughter keeps calling it heaven. Because she confuses the sound cabin and heaven ❤. Its pretty much that, a little piece of heaven on earth. Thank you for the experience!

thank you for your kind words. We love Timberon and we love it when others take the time to relax, breath in the air and take in the scenery, Welcome back anytime.
This was a great property. Loved the views. I would say the hot tub is one of the best ones I've been in. I only gave 4 stars on accuracy of listing because it says communal pool, but we didn't see one. I only gave an overall of 4 stars because the owner looked through our windows, not once, but twice. Each time I waved at him to let him know I seen him, and he just looked away and left, other wise it was a great stay.

Kenneth. I'm happy you enjoyed your stay, the hot Tub and our amazing views.
Our Community of Timberon has a community pool, located by the community center, firestation and fishing pond. Weather and staffing permitted, it is open Memorial day to Labor day. It is a community amenity, just like the golf course and fishing pond, not something that's part of our rentals.
As for the ownerookong in the windows, I am the owner and I was in Mexico on vacation during your stay, so perhaps another guest was walking past your living room. There are no bedroom windows facing the decks or walkways and we have thick room darkening curtains for privacy in all rooms.
Timberon Condos is a wonderful place to rest, relax and unplug. We needed some time away from the hustle and bustle of the city and it did not disappoint. The weather was spectacular (cool evenings and pleasant days for these deep southerners desperate to escape 100 degree summer weather). If you want to eat out, the Highlands Bar and Grill was awesome. Connie’s was closed but I hear it’s good. And Cloudcroft isn’t too far away to enjoy their restaurants and breweries.
You can’t beat the sunrises from the front porch and occasional elk sightings.
We will definitely return next time we travel to New Mexico!!

Will be sure to visit again
Overall it was a great experience. There were a few things i would suggest to people who plan on renting out the condo. Be sure to contact the property manager prior to arriving. I never recieved my key code to enter the condo and I was required to call them using a phone at a local business. I was lucky enough to reach out to the property manager. You will not have any signal out in the location. Be sure to have all of your supplies aswell. They have a small bar area that provides food, but it would be a good idea to bring snacks, drinks, ect. The condo was beautiful. I was hoping the hot tub would be open, but the cleaning lady mentioned the hot tub was drained last week. The tub was one of the reasons why I had rented the condo in the first place. I hope in the future, the property managers would communicate a little better with renters. The condo does provide wifi so you will be able to use your cellular devices. One thing I would suggest to the properpty managers, would be to include the wifi password in the welcoming packet. We were trying to search for the wifi password and realized they were on the mirrors. It would make it easier for people to have the password included in the rules that the property owners created. The door to enter the condo was also an issue. A large piece of the door frame had fallen off and had almost hit us. It was very difficult to enter the condo. Our neighbors had mentioned we were required to give it a little push. Other then these issues, the experience was a great one. We were there for only 2 days and we were lucky enough to experience both snow and sunlight. I will definitely return. The condo was beautiful and I'm looking forward to visiting again. Thank you!
We would totally rent this again! Amazing views and great people!
