About this property

Spacious Luxury Home near Beaumont in Royal Oak**ALLERGY FRIENDLY

Our house features 3 bedrooms with queen sized beds in each, with a workstation in the basement. Equipped with Wifi and multiple Smart tv's/Roku. The property has hardwood floors throughout, refrigerator with water/ice, dishwasher, electric range, 2 washers and dryers. Full bathroom upstairs, half bath in basement, with 2 washers and dryers in basement. Fully furnished, with coffee bar, new appliances in kitchen. Fenced in yard, with garage parking access - EV charger plug in back of house. Located in quiet neighborhood with many families. Walking distance to playground and Shrine Catholic Basilica. We are a family friendly and allergy friendly house!

There is an EV car charger on the back of the house. 240-volt, 50-amp, NEMA 14-50 outset.

We will provide towels, linens, and bedding. We will also provide essentials like basic spices and condiments, dishwasher tabs, laundry detergent and dryer sheets. We do have a steam iron and ironing board available. We have luggage racks and humidifiers in each room. An air mattress is also available for use. We do have some baby items available for guest use (crib, playpen, high chair, baby gates).

If you have allergies and are scent sensitive, this is the place for you. We have unscented laundry detergent and laundry sheets. **WE DO NOT USE GLADE PLUG INS.** There are hardwood floors throughout. The only rug is in the living room. Handwash/dishwashing soap, cleaning products may have some scent. We do allow pets, and other travelers may have used products that we did not supply, so we cannot guarantee that it is 100% allergen free.

Long Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed the easy checkin and communication with the owners. The property was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the home was situated in a safe neighborhood. We were in town to attend a wedding, but if we ever return, we will stay there again! Two giant thumbs up!!

Christmas away from home!

Stayed at this beautiful home for our first Christmas away from home. The home was amazing in a cute, safe neighborhood. Everything was clean and welcoming with a few extra special touches. It was my husband and I and our two adult children and daughter in law as well as our son and daughter in laws dog! It was absolutely perfect. The hosts were very responsive and accessible if needed. I would not hesitate to stay in this home again. If you are staying anywhere in the Detroit area you can’t go wrong with this rental. Thanks for hosting us.

We stayed here for two months while waiting to move into our new place, and honestly, it couldn’t have been better. The owners live next door and are the kind of neighbors everyone wishes they had—friendly, thoughtful, and just great people. The whole block is full of nice families and kids, and it feels super safe and welcoming. We walked to the playground almost every day with our toddler and even joined the Halloween block party, which made it feel like we were part of the neighborhood.The house itself is spotless (like, beyond clean and organized) and has absolutely everything you could possibly need. Every room is stocked, the kitchen has all the essentials (and more), and having multiple washers and dryers was such a bonus. Everything feels fresh, updated, and really well taken care of.It didn’t feel like a typical rental—it felt like home. We’re so grateful we got to stay here and can’t recommend it enough.

Perfect home away from home

Kristy’s house feels just like home! The house is well appointed, in a safe and quiet neighborhood, and is close to all the necessities. The kitchen has nearly as many cooking utensils as my own, there are multiple washers and dryers, and Kristy added lots of thoughtful touches like fans, humidifiers, and plenty of extra linens. Our dog absolutely loved the fully fenced in yard and met a lot of friendly neighborhood dogs on walks. While the home is older, it is incredibly well-maintained and updated with no maintenance issues. The hosts are very responsive and helpful as well— when I had a minor issue with the garbage disposal Kristy’s husband was over that afternoon with a quick fix! I feel really comfortable in their home, and I plan to stay here again in the future :)

Beautiful Home in Royal Oak

Very clean and beautiful home in a very nice and quiet neighborhood in Royal Oak. A few blocks from Woodward Ave. and a 5 minute drive to downtown Royal Oak. Kristy & Steve were extremely responsive and the best we have experienced. Highly recommend this property. We will be back.

Welcome Home

2302 Elmhurst Ave was such an amazing home. The property owners did an excellent job with staging this home to suit the needs of guests, making it feel like home for anyone. Our large family of seven were able to sleep peacefully and had everything within arms reach. Our children enjoyed the games and backyard space offered for play. The owners were also very attentive to our needs before arriving and quickly to respond. We will most certainly book with them again. If the home is available for your desired dates; BOOK IT! You will not regret it.
