Essex Mountain Cabin is the perfect vacation getaway. Located in Essex, Montana between the West and East entrances to Glacier National Park and easy access to Flathead National Forrest, The Great Bear Wilderness and Bob Marshal Wilderness as well as access to the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. You will not only enjoy the awe-inspiring views of mountains, waterfalls and rivers that the area has to offer but enjoy the many hikes and outdoor adventures that are available only minutes from your back door.
Essex Mountain Cabin is located approx. 25 minutes from both the West and East entrances to Glacier National Park. We offer many amenities such as two private bedrooms with King Size and queen bed with 2 single beds in the 3rd bedroom (loft area). Guest can also enjoy our outdoor patio surrounded by large pine trees and Mountain Views
Of course the quiet, peaceful area is only minutes away from many attractions, restaurants and grocery stores.

It is our mission to help all that choose to stay at the Mountain Cabin to have a beautifully memorable experience in our peaceful and serene setting.

Amazing property!

You won’t be disappointed if you book this property! It was clean, spacious, and well stocked for all needs. The grill and hot tub are great amenities. It is perfectly located between East and West Glacier. 10/10, would stay there again!

Mark and I have raised our family with Glacier National Park in our back yard and have so very much enjoyed the hiking, camping and skiing we have done through the years. it is truly a special place to enjoy the majestic views that are all around. WE hope you enjoy it as much as we have for the past 25 years.

Why they chose this property

We love Essex so very much. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists but close enough that we can do hikes and enjoy all that Glacier has to offer.

What makes this property unique is the size. Most properties in the area do not have the large yard that allows for yard games and outdoor fun with a good amount of privacy as you enjoy the forrest and mountains that immediately surround the property.
