Perfect

This was the first time we have ever rented anything other than a hotel room. My husband told me it was the best thing ever! The owner has this place stocked and perfect for a getaway. This is perfect for a couple and your pup if u have one, there is a nice fenced yard. Just steps to the beach. We will def come back. Thank you!!!

Amazing week on the bay

The Scallop Shell Cottage was a perfect spot for a week away with my partner and pup. Super clean, bay beach is just a block away, and a short drive to Cape May beaches and other destinations. Host was very responsive and the cottage was very clean.

By the bay

It's not the biggest place, although it has everything you need, nice size bedroom, kitchen and living room. backyard with barbecue and most important, very close to bay. We went for a walk on the bay in the morning and evening. We loved this place. I would definitely rent again next year. Thank you.

Due to the size of Scallop Shell Cottage, we do not recommend this cottage for young children, and we do require dog guests to be crated when left alone in the house. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on-site 24-7.
