Perfect home base in Oakhurst to explore Yosemite National Park, Bass Lake, Madera wine trail, casino, river rafting, golfing, skiing in winter, or countless hiking trails in the area.

DETAILED INFO:
This home has a cozy open living space, a backyard patio to enjoy meals outside, & a porch to sip your coffee. The marvelous mountain view surrounds the whole home. For adventure seekers and off-trail hikers, you can hike down to Fresno river from the backyard to find a small private beach. It may not be suitable for everyone for this hike because it is somewhat steep and off trail.

Kitchen is well stocked. New washer and dryer.

There is a smart TV to watch cable channels or log into your favorite shows on Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and AppleTV+ (you will need your own subscription). You can enjoy the variety of board games, the 1000-piece puzzles, or professional foosball table in the upstairs loftwith a convertible sleeper sofa. The house also has kid friendly amenities like dinnerware, high chair (Chicco Caddy Portable Hook-on High Chair), crib (Lotus portable crib), baby bathtub, potty seat, and games.

Heat/AC available. Inverters inside every room so you set the temperature you want without having to compromise.

To ensure safety of guests, there is a security Ring camera at the outside of the house.

-No smoking in the house. $500 fine.
- No pets. $500 fine for bringing pets onto the property.
- Quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am.
- No wood burning fires allowed outside. $500 fine for fires. Please protect Yosemite and nearby regions as the area is at risk for fires.
- If you hike to the beach, you have to pick up any trash after yourself to protect the river and environment.
- The house is not childproofed. Please judge yourself if the house is appropriate for your children.

Great Location

This was the perfect place to stay for our visit to Yosemite & Kings Canyon/Sequoia. Enjoying coffee in the morning on the upper deck, the quiet location, and the cleanliness of the home, all contributed to an amazing stay.

Great home 45 min from Yosemite

Home was clean and well furnished. Communication was host was excellent and check in process was a breeze. Bed mattresses were just ok, which is the only slight knock on this location. Definitely recommend if you are looking for good value within daily driving distance of Yosemite.

Thank you. We used medium firm hybrid mattresses because they seem better for backs per chiropractors. We in fact paid more for their quality than softer memory foam mattresses. Mattress tastes are personal like spaghettis sauces. (Maybe Malcolm Gladwell can do another book on mattresses. ;D) Thank you for being great guests.

The house is situated in a very quiet neighborhood and is peaceful. The views from the backyard and upper level deck face a tranquil mountain range and you can hear the creek flowing (that might depend on the time of year). We did attempt to go down to the creek/beach area but, it had been raining and it seemed a little difficult to get down there.The bedding/linens are nice and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen has plenty of room and counter space. We only used the microwave, so can't speak about the oven or cooktop. It was nice to have use of the garage. You are close to town if you want to go out to eat or get groceries.That being said, some of the pictures on the listing are outdated. The backyard doesn't have grass and is now just gravel. The patio table and chair are very dilapidated. Several of the window coverings need repair/replacement as they wouldn't open or close. It was disappointing to not be able to open the blinds to see the beautiful views.

Great spot!

the property was great. Clean, all the amenities worked. Easy in and out. Natalie was super helpful and very responsive. Has all the kitchen stuff you’d need to prepare and dine. Do not bring mustard! Lol. The previous guests and I all had the same idea, bring mustard for sandwiches, I added my bottle to the 4 others lol. Anyways, enjoy the view and and the easy 5 minutes in to town for groceries and restaurants. Another 30 minutes up to Yosemite.

Comfortable mountain retreat

My husband, my brother and sister-in-law and I stayed at this property while visiting Yosemite National Park. Great location for visiting the Park - about 15 mi away. Very clean and comfortable home with a great view of the mountains from any window on the back of the house. Kitchen is well outfitted and nicely laid out for food prep. Resident turkeys, quail and mule deer visited the yard every day. Also had a chance encounter with a hummingbird moth! The house is in a very quiet neighborhood and close to good grocery stores and restaurants. We had a couple of questions prior to and during our stay. The property manager responded very quickly each time - easily within 30 minutes. This house would be our first choice if we visit Yosemite again!

20min drive to Bass Lake, 1.5hrs drive to Yosimite Valley

Quiet, nice cabin in Oakhurst, great nature watching through front window! FYI: the cabin is a 40min drive to the entrance of Yosimite Nat. Park, and 1hr.30min to Tunnel View in Yosimite Valley of the park. As for the cabin stay, it was as a whole pleasant, however the master bedroom could use a spray of pesticide. A family of small spiders was living in the rug and the towels in the bathroom the first time we used them. Also, as much as we were paying per night, I was surprised we were asked to wash our own sheets & towels before leaving. Washing our own dishes I understand, but even the Motel 6 will wash your sheets & towels as part of your stay.

Thank you. We have a pesticide company routinely spraying the perimeter of the house. Other guests have never reported a spider and do enjoy the fact of being surrounded by nature and animals. The cleaning guidelines are recommended by our cleaners. That’s how some cleaners handle cleaning near Yosemite. But based on your feedback, we communicated with our cleaners and adjusted checkout guidelines. Thank you.
